The marine sanctuary of Kealakekua Bay ranks among Hawaii’s most scenic spots for snorkeling, swimming, and hiking. The beautiful bay, home to spinner dolphins and backed by green mountain slopes, was the site where Captain James Cook landed—and was later killed—on the Big Island in 1779, forever altering the history and culture of the archipelago.

Zodiac Tour Kealakekua Bay
Been snorkeling many time in Kealakekua Bay. The Zodiac tour is the best. What made this time especially fun was Captain Marco. A fun ride, lots of history, very personable!

Fantastic family snorkelling tour
Great chilled out crew that knew their stuff. Passengers safety was priority on board, as was ensuring everyone had a great time. They took extra time with my 8 year old daughter, who was a snorkelling pro by the end of the tour. Awesome.

Thoroughly enjoyed the cruise
The trip was fabulous! Very modern and clean boat. Crew was professional, very attentive and fun. Historical information was very interesting. Meal was more than expected and drinks were good and served by the crew. View of p and down the coast was beautiful and sunset was spectacular!

Great crew and adventure at an affordable price.
This was an amazing adventure for the price it was so much more than I expected. From beginning to the end id pick this trip over any of the others. The boat was clean and the crew was very funny and friendly. We did the no swimming and swimming/snorkel experience and for the price had an amazing time. We were first in the cove and the time slot was the best time to go out since it became very crowded the later you got there.
