Break away from the throngs of tourists crowding Miami Beach, and discover the revitalized district of Wynwood. Once nothing but run-down warehouses, the now-hip neighborhood is known for its mural-lined streets. Visitors also enjoy the numerous art galleries, coffee shops, craft breweries, and Puerto Rican–influenced eateries.

Wynwood Food & Street Art Tour
We went on the Wynwood Food & Street Art Tour with guide Mirka Harris on Thursday 26th October. A very enjoyable tour with Mirka who clearly knows her stuff. She was very friendly and welcoming and took us to a number of hidden treasures to try different cuisines interspersed between looking at the various street art Wynwood has to offer. If you get the chance I would recommend you try this out.

Very Fun and Fascinating Tour!
Chris was an awesome tour guide. He was very considerate and made sure we had a good experience. The murals on the tour were very interesting and the history was fascinating. Driving on the segways was a lot of fun!! Just wish we could have stopped at some of the murals we only got to breeze by. Overall, highly recommended!!

Wynwood Art Tour
Our tour guide, Ria was exceptional. She was knowledgeable, loved this park and was fun. Our tour was a culinary tour and all the food was unknown to us, but very good. It was nice trying new tastes. The art was wonderful. I didn't know where to look next. Will definitely go back.
Frequently Asked Questions
People Also Ask
Q:Is Wynwood worth a visit?
A:Yes, this bustling Miami neighborhood is worth a visit, especially if you’re an art enthusiast or just want to find a city nook with a hipster vibe. The Wynwood Walls are up there on Miami’s must-see attractions, and the surrounding streets with their colorful murals will enhance any visit.
Q:How long is the Wynwood Walls tour?
A:The official Wynwood Walls tour run by the Wynwood Walls Museum lasts around 50 minutes. However, you can get more out of a visit to this kitsch Miami neighborhood by booking an extended option that combines the 50-minute tour with food, art, or Segway tours around the nearby streets.
Q:Can you see the Wynwood Walls for free?
A:Yes, if you're a child under 12, you can see the Wynwood Walls for free (with a paying adult), but a ticket is required. Admission tickets can be reserved online on the official Wynwood Walls site. Tickets cover entry to two street art galleries, shops, and the wall’s murals.
Q:Is Wynwood Art Walk still happening?
A:Yes, the Wynwood Art Walk takes place on the second Saturday of every month. It’s more of a block party than an organized walk, with galleries and shops opening their doors from early evening through the night. Food trucks, DJs, cocktails, games, and a market all add to the vibe.
Q:What is the best day to go to Wynwood?
A:For crowd-free snaps next to colorful murals, weekdays are the quietest. But, if it’s a fun vibe you’re after, Saturday is likely the best day of the week in Wynwood. If you can time your visit for the second Saturday of the month for Wynwood Art Walk, that’s even better.
Q:Why is Wynwood so popular?
A:Wynwood has a reputation as one of the world’s biggest outdoor art galleries, featuring vibrant works by artists from all over the globe. As well as the neighborhood’s artistic scene, the area is known as a hot spot for exciting restaurants, bars, nightlife, and shops—with something to entertain everyone.
