Orsay Museum (Musée d'Orsay) Tours and Tickets

45,783 reviews

Rivaling the Louvre as Paris' favorite art museum, the Orsay Museum (Musée d'Orsay) is known for its impressionist, post-impressionist, and art nouveau works from 1848 to 1914. Equally impressive as what’s inside the museum is its exterior: a former Beaux-Arts railway station with an enviable location on the banks of the Seine River. Both architecture and art buffs will want this museum on their Parisian itineraries.

Fantastic Museum tour!
Have been to the Musee d"Orsay twice before, but avoided guides. I highly recommend a guide. Incredible insights, and time savings; the whole family loved it!

Paris in under a day - “a ‘not to miss’”
Beautiful museum. Having the opportunity to view art that previously I had only seen in books or on class slides in an Art History class was fabulous.

Interesting art history in two world class museums
Our guide Mathieu was very knowledgeable and did a great job taking us to see the highlights in both the Louvre and Musee D’Orsay. He even referenced the previous art we saw when looking at the later pieces and gave us insight into the painters’ relationships with each other and how Impressionism began.
