It all starts in Vigidal Square, right in the begginning of Vidigal Favela, and goes to the entrance of the trail, made by motorcycle or van. The trail is about 1.5 km long, but when you reach the top, each step taken is greatly rewarded with a panoramic view of the main sights of Rio de Janeiro like Sugar Loaf, Crist the Redemeer, Copacabana Beach and more... Besides a beautiful view, this tour has a great Rappel for beginners, because besides being all the time in contact with the rock, it is short according to other places in Rio. Not as easy climb as it seemed but well worth it when you get to the top….amazing views….the motorbike experience in Vidigal was equally cool in my opinion…..good to see the other part of Rio…Daniel my guide was such a nice guy which helped too……Laurent

A must do in Rio! 10/10
Such a great experience doing this hike with Henry. He was so knowledgeable. We did the sunset hike which was amazing to see the sun go down from the top, bring a torch as it's dark coming down. Getting the motor taxi through the favela was an experience I won't forget!! Top thing I did in Rio!!
