In the heart of Rio de Janeiro’s revived Centro neighborhood, the Bank of Brazil Cultural Center hosts temporary art exhibitions, theatrical performances, film screenings, concerts, and talks. In addition to its Rio flagship, the Bank of Brazil Cultural Center now has additional locations in São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, and Brasilia. The Bank of Brazil Cultural Center is on Rua Primeiro de Março, 66 in Rio de Janeiro’s Centro neighborhood. If using public transport, take the Metrô to Uruguaiana / Centro, take the tram to Candelária, use local bus lines, or even disembark the ferry at the Praça XV terminal. When to get there

The Bank of Brazil Cultural Center is open every day except Tuesdays, from morning until evening. Note that the opening hours of some of its spaces—including its library, archive, and cafes—can vary. The center additionally opens an hour early on Sunday mornings for visitors with intellectual disabilities and their companions.
