Yes, Disneyland® Paris is worth visiting, particularly if you’re traveling with kids.

Disneyland® Paris is a fun place to visit, especially with kids. While adult travelers to Paris who aren’t big Disney® fans may prefer to skip a trip to Disneyland® Paris to have more time for museums and cultural attractions, visitors with little ones will find the experience well worth their while, even if just for a day. Disneyland® Park is particularly great for little ones, while slightly older kids are sure to have a blast at Walt Disney® Studios Park.

Visit during the low season to avoid crowds or during holidays for special events.

The best time of year for visiting Disneyland® Paris depends on your goals. The low season runs from mid-January to mid-March and again from mid-April to mid-May, which is great for avoiding crowds, but there are fewer shows and special events. The summer and Christmas seasons generally have more robust entertainment programs, but the parks can get incredibly crowded during those periods.

Come on a weekday to beat the crowds.

If you're trying to avoid crowds and long lines at rides, a mid-week (Tuesday–Thursday) visit is your best bet, particularly during the low season. However, the parks at Disneyland® Paris generally stay open later on weekends, meaning you’ll have more time to spend at the park if you’re prepared to visit from opening until closing. While special one-off events are more likely to occur on busier weekends, some special events, such as the Disney® Dreams! fireworks spectacle, are held nightly (weather permitting).

Anything from 1–5 days at Disneyland® Paris is enough for most people.

Disneyland® Paris offers loads to see and do, but a day tour from Paris is enough for some people to get a feel for the Disney® highlights. If you plan to visit Disneyland® Park and Walt Disney® Studios Park, you’re better off giving yourself two days so you’ll have enough time to get to grips with both attractions. If you’re coming during one of the busier times of the year, you may want to spend three or four days at Disneyland® Paris to take things slow and not have to spend too much time waiting in lines.

Dress for comfort and be prepared for surprise weather.

While it’s always tempting to dress as chicly as possible in Paris, it’s wise to prioritize comfort above all else when visiting the Disney® parks. Wear shoes that are comfortable enough for walking long distances (and standing in long lines), and wear layers that are easy to remove or add depending on the weather. Sun protection is also a must, particularly in the summer months, but note that if you wear a hat, you may need to take it off before getting on some rides.

Insider tip: If you are in an unexpected downpour, fear not: Ponchos are available at most Disneyland® Paris gift shops.

Is Disneyland® Paris accessible for people with disabilities?

Yes, there are lots of accessible rides for people with disabilities.

While not every ride at Disneyland® Paris is accessible for all, many of the top options have wheelchair access, adapted vehicles and equipment, and induction loops for d/Deaf and hard of hearing visitors. (Each ride has information symbols that can help you figure out which are accessible for you and your party, and there are strollers and wheelchairs available to rent.) Visually impaired visitors can use the AudioSpot mobile app to navigate the park with ease.

Plus, all shops and restaurants are wheelchair-accessible, and suitable for people with guide dogs, while there are accessible bathrooms around the park. Character Encounters, too, can be enjoyed by all; just talk to a Cast Member for more help on the day. For French speakers, there are French sign language interpreters on hand too.
