Kvaliteten på maten var enastående kompletterat med ett litet men intressant urval av viner. Vår guide, George var mycket personlig och full av information om maten, den lokala arkitekturen och historien. Han hade också ett innovativt flashkortspel för att lära oss både lite av det matrelaterade ungerska språket och de tillhörande rätterna. Utmärkt uppföljning efter turnén med recept på några av de provade köken.

Wonderful tour! Food + Culture

I had such a wonderful time on this tour. Zoltan was an excellent host - great sense of humor and lots of interesting anecdotes. We got to eat everything I had on my list to try in Budapest… the strudel place was extra special, as we got to watch it be made. This tour wasn’t just about the food though - we got lots of information about the city’s history and Zoltan pointed out all of the must see spots.

Eat your way through downtown Budapest

Zoltan is an amazing tour guide, and I highly recommend this tour. First of all, the food was great, and we were able to taste many traditional Hungarian foods and drinks -- more than we could eat, honestly. The history was also very interesting, and he was able to point out areas that maintained its original form and where renovations had been made. Zoltan also shared personal stories which made the recent history of the city really come to life. His sense of humor made the tour extra enjoyable.
