Head out on a six-hour adventure through the stunning landscapes outside of Abu Dhabi and make your way to a Bedouin-style camp tucked into the iconic sand dunes. Race over the rolling hills on 4x4, sand board down them at breakneck speeds, climb atop a camel for a once-in-a-lifetime experience or even rent a quad bike (additional cost). This trip includes round-trip hotel transport, henna painting, sheesha smoking, and even a belly dancing show, plus a savory BBQ dinner with fellow travelers.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

The kids (aged 8 & 10) loved the dune bashing but to add the camel riding, the sand boarding, show and dinner, overall made this a good value trip. 100% worth it.

Unforgettable experience

This tour is amazing. Our guide took us to this wonderful camping in the middle of the desert, where we made really cool activities. The ride to get there was also funny, it’s like a roller coaster and I really enjoyed that. I would repeat it for sure.

Unforgettable experience

If we could give more than 5 stars we would. A wonderful experience from start to finish, made all the better by our amazing guide. Nisam collected us from our hotel in our own private vehicle 4 adults and an 5 and 1 year old and after a short drive to the desert we began our adventure. He ensured we were comfortable and stopped at every chance for additional photo opportunities along the way. He was kind and engaged with our 2 girls along the way. We first stopped for some photos on the sand dunes before beginning our journey over the dunes on an exhilarating, nail biting ride which was amazing. We stopped for photos again at a camel farm before making our final stop at our camp. We would spend the rest of our time here enjoying camel rides, dune surfing, quad biking and henna tattoos. We then enjoyed a delicious bbq dinner under the stars while we enjoyed some traditional dancing. All in all an amazing experience.

Desert adventure

Seeing the desert's beauty was breathtaking and the dune bashing made it all the more memorable. Rashid our driver/tour guide was the best. He was on time, attentive during the dune bashing to those in the vehicle and assisted us with great photos. He spoke good english and the tour was well organised. The food at the camp was surprisingly tasty, didn't expect the buffet to be that fresh and flavourful. It was a nice way to spend a few hours and there was enough time to do all the activites before it became crowded.

Safari desert trip family with kids 4 and 7

Very nice afternoon spent outdoors! Pick up on time, communication with the agency was very good. Before entering the desert there was one stop at the gas station- very practical! Dune bashing was fun, went with kids 4 and 7 yo. First stop was a photo shoot for all participants 😀 second at the camel farm (appreciated not wearing flip flops there 💩). Final stop was by the big tent, activities awaited- sand boarding (enjoyed the most!), camel riding (very short), atv quads for additional fee. Everything the agency promised was there. We enjoyed the dinner, food was delicious, buffet with meat, veggie options, salads and two types of sweets. Program was nice, belly dancer and a guy in typical costume dancing. No star gazing for us due to clouds. Trip recommended!

Amazing, fun, well organised, roller coaster ride ... fun from start to finish and some amazing photo opportunities. Excellent from the hotel collection, meeting the other cars, adventure driving through the sand dunes, the food was excellent, camel riding, henna tattoos, belly dancing show .... it was so memorable. Favourite trip of holiday.

Our driver, Shameer, sent us a WhatsApp in the morning to confirm our pickup time and arrived dead on time. With a couple in the car already and another couple joining from our hotel we were ready to get going, so Shameer quickly explained what we'd be doing and when. At the various stops Shameer helped us take photos and got some great snaps. Whilst dune bashing, he regularly checked on us to make sure we were all OK, whilst giving us a very exciting and enjoyable ride, which always felt safe and well within his capabilities. The food after sunset was great and the entertainment finished off the evening. It was definitely a trip I'd do again. The whole trip cost less than some of the meals we had on other days so felt very goo value for money. Certainly a recommended trip and Shameer really made it for us by looking after everyone so well.
