This was one of the best experiences we had in La Fortuna. We were lucky enough to have a private tour and our guide, Fabricio, was amazing. He was so knowledgeable about not only coffee and chocolate, but the flora and fauna of Costa Rica. We had a lot of good laughs and the tastings of all the products grown on the farm were so amazing. We made our own chocolates and found some cool animals on our way to their waterfall. Would recommend to anyone visiting La Fortuna!

Such a wonderful tour! Very interactive as you get to participate in different processes throughout the tour. Smaller group so more opportunities to chat and ask questions. Highly recommend!

I very much enjoyed my tour at Don Jorge Chocolate and Coffee Tour! My guide, Fabricio Alexis, was very knowledgeable about ALL the flora on this family-owned farm. It was great to learn about all that goes into raising, harvesting, and producing the coffee and chocolate products we consume. We had hands-on demonstrations to make our own coffee, chocolate, and also sugarcane "juice"...and we spiked it with sugarcane moonshine!

We had the absolute best time. It was very informative and hands on. Learned a lot and had fun. So nice to support a small local instead of big corp!!! We would definitely do it again!

Had an awesome experience at the farm where we explored the premises on foot while being guided by the family who explained the whole chocolate making process and showed us various tropical fruits. We got to taste fresh sugar cane juice and participated in making our own chocolates with our group. We enjoyed the traditional hot chocolate while we learned about its history. Took a short hike to the beautiful waterfall where they allow swimming. It rained while we were there so we returned to enjoy some freshly made coffee from the farm. Don Jorge's sons were wonderful hosts, will definitely send friends their way and return ourselves. Highly recommend this tour.
