Great afternoon tour

We booked this tour to see the Troll Road since the cruise line excursions weren't available. We had an amazing driver that navigated our large tour bus without issue! We were given history and folklore during our drive. A great tour despite the rain!

Troll Road Experience

Going through the Troll Road was such an experience! The bus driver was amazing maneuvering the switchbacks. Unfortunately the Troll Wall was covered by the clouds by the time we got there.

Short tour but covers everything you need.

Great trip. Sylvia our guide was knowledgeable and pleasant. The driver was incredible, navigating a very difficult road. Was easy to locate the guides in Andalsnes and the tour was as described. This is a short 3hr tour that packs in as much as it can. You do NOT get long to roam around at the stops, so if that's an issue for you, book a different tour.

Great trip on the Troll Road

This was a great trip with interesting and entertaining commentary from our guide, Denise. Respect also to our driver for managing the eleven hairpin bends, and for stopping to assist less capable motorists! Highly recommended if you are on a cruise....and so much cheaper than the ship.

Impressive scenery, need a bit longer time at the top of Troll Road.

Impressive scenery! We took many gorgeous pictures. We like the short Troll movie shown at Tindesenter. Bus was late by one hour. Tour guide gave us choice of partial refund or extend the tour an hour longer. We were all satisfied.

Hairpin turns, great scenery and a knowledgeable guide.

We thoroughly enjoyed our bus ride to the top of the Troll Road. Our bus driver did a great job navigating the hairpin turns and our guide Denise was very knowledgeable and had a great personality. We had several opportunities to take photos as well as restroom breaks. I wish there could have been a little more time at the top but we made it work. Definitely something to do on your next stop to Andalsnes!!!!

Run, Rush and hey we need a bus for a bus tour?

Tour started with a somewhat useless movie. When exiting for the busses (90 in the group), there was 1 bus missing. Tour guide called and told us it would be about 20 minutes. When asked how that would impact the tour, we were told it would shorten our stops. People complained in the group and convinced the guide to contact her boss. After the buss pulled out we were given the option of a 30% refund or the full tour, but getting back to the ship later. Majority went with full tour, which was okay for us, but did impact others in the group. Stops were much too short at each place, leaving people rushing and running to make it back to the bus at each stop. Troll road stop of 30 minutes does not allow somebody who is not running the entire time to make it to the 2nd look out and stop either at the washroom or gift shop (never-mind trying to do both).

This trip was fantastic, Both Driver and Guide Denise were excellent and full of information that never stopped throughout trip. A minor fault would be a bit rushed for time, this of course would be dictated by the traffic. At least an extra 30 min should be added.

Beautiful route, too little time during the stops

Beautiful drive to the viewpoint, good transport, excellent driver and friendly guide Julia with sufficient information. Easy to find at the agreed meeting point. Beautiful scenery during the trip. The stop at the viewpoint was only for 25 minutes. 10 minutes to walk to the main platform, 5 minutes for photos and 10 minutes to hurry back to the bus. At the Troll Wall you have only a 7 minute photo stop. Both stops were way to short and therefore a bit of a disappointment.

The bus ride was a site to see, Beautiful landscape. Peter our tour guide was professional and very informative, We were most impressed with his knowledge of the local area. Our bus driver Joe was a real Pro. Right on time and He really know how to handle the large bus This was a fun excursion. I would recommend for all age groups !

Our guide, Denise, was informative, funny, and knowledgeable. Our driver did a phenomenal job negotiating the hairpin turns along the troll road and really showcased his skill when squeezing past buses coming in the other direction. The day we went, it was foggy, so we couldn't see the top of the troll wall, but the fog magically lifted just long enough for us to get a great view of the valley and the troll road from the lookout point up top. You don't have a lot of time up there, so I suggest going to the furthest point first and then circle back to the waterfall if you still have time. There is a gift shop and restrooms in the facilities here, but the restaurant was damaged by an avalanche earlier in the year, and was undergoing repairs. It was a nice relaxing way to experience the troll road. I would have had white knuckles gripping the steering wheel if I were driving.

Trolls no joke... beautiful bus ride to the Troll road and troll wall. Bus is comfortable, few stop along the way. Saw many many Trolls along the way.. enjoyed the scenery

Stunning excursion, a must do !

A fantastic excursion up and down the troll road with a stop at the top view points. Sylvia our guide was excellent as was our driver. A traffic blockage and therefore delay as we approached the troll road, was dealt with professionally and with as smile by Sylvia our guide. I would thoroughly recommend this trip if in Norway.

Guide and driver were great. Good senses of humour made the trip enjoyable. Welcoming guy was not welcoming. I was first in line and twice he looked past me and dealt with others behind me. Terrible PR. Things appeared quite confusing. He was unsure if the bus was cleared to load. Loaded a couple for the 4:00 tour on the 3:00 tour. It all balanced out to “3”.
