We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good introduction to the Camargue. Our guide Flavio was excellent. He was both knowledgeable and enthusiastic and we learnt a lot about the area in our four hour long trip.

Flávio, our driver, was very knowledgeable about the area, animals and history.
Learned a lot about bulls and the history/custom off bull fighting.
We enjoyed the tour.
Flavio is an outstanding tour guide, and we would recommend this tour to anyone.
Considering I am against cruelty to animals, I would love to see the population of So. France to consider some entertainment other than watching the killing of an animal, regardless of the „art“ and tradition of bull fighting.
I realize not all bulls are killed, and am grateful for that.

We learned a great deal about the region, the agriculture and the horse/bull industry.
In the end, I would have preferred to cover less territory and have more time to enjoy interesting settings.
It would have been nice to access a point where the flamingos were closer to shore. Years ago I visited smaller swamps and it was wonderful.

I enjoyed the tour even though it wasn't what I expected. I thought there'd be some real 4x4 tracks and that we would see wild, not farmed, animals. That was probably ignorance on my part. I nevertheless learnt a lot about rice production and the bull industry.
And we did see flamingos at three locations, which was the highlight for me.
Olivier the tour guide is clearly passionate about this land and it was a pleasure to spend a morning learning new things.

Our Tour guide had endless knowledge of our planned trip. He was excellent. Jeep was a bit tricky with in and out manoeuvres for we old girls to manage but it was ok. We loved learning about the beautiful Camarge Horses, the bulls but my favourite was seeing the flamingos.
In all it was excellent day.

We knew this was a jeep safari. But the seats were very uncomfortable and the jeep was crowded. I had expected to see wild horse and bulls. The only ones we saw were on farms. We did see some wild flamingos, but they were at least 200 yds. away, not nearly close enough for any decent photos. Driver could have chosen to get us closer, but she didn’t do that. Would not recommend this tour.

Indeed, they are Jeeps and we go on the paths, which are sometimes bumpy, in order to get as close as possible to the wildlife. In summer the Flamingos are further away because there is less water in the ponds. It is also for this reason that your guide did not want to cross the dry ponds on the one hand so as not to disturb the birds and on the other hand not to distort the Camargue. Often the ponds hide muddy parts in which the vehicle can get stuck, and we remind you that we are within the Regional Natural Park. The Camargue remains a fragile territory where man despite everything has his impact, we regret that you have not understood this.
