Great introduction to Sumo wrestling. Light hearted and fun with a pleasant Japanese meal included. Audience participation was encouraged and harmless with lots of opportunity to take photos.

It was an amazing show, very entertaining and funny, the geisha was beautiful, and the Sumo wresting were great and their performances were amazing, from beginning to end, I brought 4 of my siblings and a friend and they all liked a lot., We definitely recommend it to anyone that comes to Tokyo

Highly Recommend the Sumo Experience

Our group was truly satisfied with our experience with the sumos. We all thought it was a well-polished, interactive and humorous show, all whilst teaching us more about the rules and etiquette of sumo wrestling. Delicious food... it was a great idea to give us time to enjoy it, while individuals took a photo with the geisha. We LOVED that volunteers were invited up to wrestle with the sumos and all groups could take photos with them. It was impressive that each member of our group their own photo printed out to go with the pack of goodies. Highly recommended, but it was a bit tricky to find. FYI, Japan refers to ground floor as the first floor.

Fun for all ages

This was definitely an entertainment show! We wanted to see the sumo wrestlers while in Japan and although we could not see an actual match, this allowed us to get a glimpse of it. We learned some of the rules and what they do to get ready to fight. The staff are very friendly and the wrestlers are quite entertaining! The dinner was really good and you also get free pictures and a souvenir. My 8 year old son was able to get in the ring and go against a wrestler at the end of the show. This was the highlight of his trip!! Thank you for a very memorable evening!

Good food and the sumo wrestlers were a lot of fun!!! We really enjoyed our evening! The arena is quite small so there is not a bad seat in the house and it was much funnier than we thought it would be. WE loved the audience participation and that everyone gets a picture with the Sumo Wrestlers and Geisha girl.

Positives: • The chance to fight a sumo wrestler is undoubtably fun • There is some information about the rules and traditions of the sport • The sumo wrestlers had a good sense of humour • The kids in the audience loved it Negatives: • It’s big tourist trap and did not feel remotely authentic • The Greek presenter was reading from a script and kept losing her place and it felt disjointed and not very informative • The hot pot was average • £80 is not good value

Go there if you want your kids to have fun and have a laugh, the sumos were funny. Don’t go there if you want to see serious training. It’s a basically a show.

One of the highlights of our trip

Very delightful dinner and a show. I frankly expected less. I was convinced we would need to look for a real dinner after this event. However, Food was surprisingly edible. I was with kids and all of us had a great time. The host and sumo wrestlers made everyone feel welcome and gave each guest individual attention when it came to pictures. Easily a highlight of our trip.
