Important **We pick up within 3 miles of city center One North Pack Square Asheville NC 28801.** If you are staying outside our pick up area we can meet at the Asheville Visitor Center 36 Montford Avenue Asheville NC 28801. (safe/free parking) PICK UP TIME WILL BETWEEN 8:00 - 8:20am as we have several to schedule on most days. We also pick up:Sweet Pea Hostel, Bon Paul & Sharkeys Hostel, area Bed & Breakfast/ Airbnb/ VRBO/ locations within 3 miles of city center. We pick up within 3 miles of city center, One North Pack Square Asheville NC 28801. If you are outside that area we can meet at the: Asheville Visitor Center 36 Montford Avenue Asheville NC 28801. The parking is safe/free and we are members there as well.

Keith was amazing! Very knowledgeable about the history of area, trees and plants. He was vey attentive to the needs of everyone in the group and showed us some of the most beautiful waterfalls. Highly recommend this tour!!!

Keith was a Fantastic guide. He shared his knowledge about plants and fauna, the water shed, Water Falls and trails in the forest.
He was fun to talk With but he also listened.
He recited poems about our trees and even had an app for bird sounds!

Keith was a great guide for our half-day out to see several beautiful waterfalls. The walking in to the falls was fairly easy, some short inclines, mostly on a gravel path. There were only four of us on the tour.

Keith our tour guide was well prepared with snacks, water, walking sticks, even gloves 🧤. He accommodated for our dog to come along. He even told us of great places to stop for food, shopping and hiking 🥾. It was an amazing experience. He would check for ice as we walked along, and he just made the experience wonderful.

My wife and I were the only ones on the tour. No matter - Keith gave us all his knowledge and enthusiasm. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the region as well as the history and also shares an old tape describing the construction of the Blue Ridge parkway. The hike to the waterfalls is pretty easy with a few stops and the waterfalls are definitely worth the effort. We were also lucky enough to see a heron close up at one of the falls. It is a trip that will live long in the memory - thanks Keith.

Hiking to the beautiful waterfalls with Keith’s guidance was fun. He shared lots of information about the area and history. It made everything come alive for me. He was very attentive to the groups needs, providing snacks and appropriate bathroom stops.

It was a glorious day and we had a very nice and beautiful ride and hike through a breathtakingly stunning areas in the mountains. Our guide/driver was very nice and friendly! He gave us a ton of information about the history of the park, the forests and of course George and Edith Vanderbilt. This was all greatly appreciated beyond words. That said, I think the communication about all the dos and don'ts with "the group" instead of individually singling out one person could've been better at times. A bit too uptight especially when there was no need for it whatsoever. Of course he wanted to keep everyone safe but we were all there to follow his lead. I gave him a generous tip regardless. Don't forget to tip him.

My first experience hiking in the mountains! And it was awesome. First, I love chasing waterfalls and this hike did not disappoint. We hiked to 3 beautiful waterfalls and each experience was amazing, simply breathtaking. Second, we had the best tour guide in Asheville! Keith was very knowledgeable (a longtime resident) of the history botany and trails. Also he was equipped with walking sticks, snacks, water etc. and anything you’d need for a good hike. The fact that impressed me the most is how well he looked out for all of us and took care of us like we were his family. That meant a lot because anything can happen. He’s not only good at what he does but he cares. Thanks Keith!
