One of the country’s favorite rafting rivers, experiencing Asheville’s French Broad River is a paddler’s rite of passage. On this guided tour, you’ll raft through four miles of Class II and III rapids, stopping for river dips, taking in the views of the surrounding Pisgah National Forest.

    Mattie was an amazing guide. Even with the river being low we had a great experience. Was hoping for professional pictures and video to have been taken for purchase but they didn’t have that available.

    Today, my husband and I went on the French Broad Whitewater Rafting trip and were mesmerized by the beauty of the River. Our guide was Gabe, he shared history of the gorge along the way as he instructed us on when to paddle and when to change our body movements to the rapids and different classes. I’d like to say we stayed dry but thankfully the River water was not nearly as cold as I thought it would be (especially coming from Florida) instead it was refreshing. The only down fall to our day’s adventure was the 40 minute drive to and from the rafting destination via school bus. All in all; we would do it again!!!

    Great trip with friends visiting from the coast. Very knowledgeable, friendly and fun guides! Felt very comfortable and safe with them. Will go again in the Fall when the waters are raging! Shout to to Ben- he was the best!

    Super cool, fun and informative. All steps from booking till last moment of the trip were easy. All staff is so friendly and helpful, couldn’t wish for better. Additional thanks to our guide Greta, funny, professional, informative, she made this experience so good, I’d definitely recommend it to all levels of physical conditions.     Great day on the river! Eli was clearly an experienced guide, great at directing us and lots of fun. Beautiful scenery, little bits of thrill on the rapids but nothing too intense.

    This was our first time whitewater rafting and this was amazing!!! Our youngest was 12 and he had a great time. I think we will plan more trips around rafting in the future.
