Nice cost effective tour
Sunny_P, Apr 2024
Big group tour with good quality for the price. Delphi tour was good but the guide was explaining too much and kept the group under the sun until the last minute before the 30min free time. I was getting concerned that some elderly people might get a heat stroke in that weather. I don’t remember her name. She was wearing pink sunglasses. The hotel was pretty nice. Dinner was not good and breakfast was okay but can’t complain with this price. Monasteries tour was very good and relaxing. The guide and the driver were nice. The guide was explaining well and kept the balance of getting people involved and giving them rest. She was very patient with the big group. Forgot her name but she was very good. The driver George was very kind and very good at driving.
Response from Host, Apr 2024
Dear Sunny, Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately the guide have time limits as we are entering on specific time slot in Delphi. We provide the services in all weather hot, windy , rainning as people expecting to be guided. Hope to keep nice memories of the tour , Hara

The guides were very informative. The hotel was comfortable and helped with my dietary restrictions. The bus was comfortable.
Meteora in winter
Laura_S, Jan 2024
The landscape in Meteora and Delphi stunning. Could have done without some of the restaurant choices. Guide I had from Delphi to Meteora informational but did not engage otherwise.

Loved both sites and especially having Meteora to ourselves in perfect weather. Guides and driver and hotel fantastic.
A very good experience in the Ancient Greece
Francine_F, Nov 2023
meteora was the best experience because it was for me difficult to imagine people living at such a high altitude without any family
Fantastic memorable trip
Mada_L, Nov 2023
Everything especially Georges the driver , Vicky and Joy ❤️❤️❤️ they are amazing ! Meteor was just magical ! It’s worth the drive !
So much driving
Lindsey_D, Nov 2023
Delphi was amazing and we wish we had spent more time there. Meteora is a beautiful photo but was not as interesting. Both tour guides were well informed and interesting. Bus drivers were amazing. When we booked this, we saw the other reviews that commented on the drive time and said “meh we can handle it”. In retrospect, it was just too much time on a bus winding through mountains. Lovely but gave me motion sickness. We wish we had done the Delphi one day tour instead. If you are looking for a more complete agenda of the trip, here you go: Day 1 830 - leave Athens; stop about 1 hour from Delphi for restrooms 12 - 115 - view archeological site of Delphi (about 50 minutes with guide and 20 minutes on your own); museum is NOT included 115-145 - transfer to Amalia Delphi to join bus with tour group doing 4-day tour 2-3 - lunch in Delphi - tour services place but not bad 3-7 - drive to Kalabaka with 2 rest stops Stay overnight at Amalia Kalabaka - food here was bland and buffet style Day 2 815 - leave for Meteora 845- 1130 - Touring two monasteries with a couple picture stops; about 20-30 minutes on your own at each monastery 12 - 1 - lunch stop; this place was pretty bad but catered to large tour groups 1-7 - drive to Athens with 2 rest stops

Our guides Dimitra and George (on separate buses) were great- fun to travel with and a good knowledge of history
A lot of time in a mini van
Frances_C, Oct 2023
It is a lot of time to spend in a minivan. There was very little leg room and we asked people seated in front of us not to recline their seats as the seats were rubbing on our knees. We enjoyed Delphi, however we were disappointed in our guide, Joy. Not a very interesting approach and voice was easy to tune out.We skipped ahead of the tour so we could get to the top of the sight to see the arena. Our next guide, Dimitra, was good, giving us enough information without overloading us. She handled a difficult situation well when roads were closed due to Storm Daniel. We were disappointed not to see the monasteries, but that was beyond tour control . From what we did see I would recommend going there. My recommendation would be to do a two night trip and would like to see a larger van
Response from Host, Oct 2023
We really suprised with your comments for your guide Joy. Is the favorite guide in the review section such as Our guide JOY was... Viator review: 4-Day Classical Greece Tour: Epidaurus, Mycenae, Olympia, Delphi, Meteora Our guide JOY was outstanding and made this trip so pleasurable. Beautiful and mythological trip. Tripadvisor review: Delphi English Day Trip from Athens The tour was fantastic, well narrated by a very professional guide Joy prepared with a huge amount of knowledge and always opened to any question. Joy from chat tours was... Viator review: Athens Half-Day Sightseeing Tour Joy from chat tours was outstanding. Our ship was delayed and she went out of her way to make our experience happen. She went above and beyond in all respects. As for the bus size , if the group is small we provide Mercedes Minibus 19 seated (not van, our company has no any minivans). For large group we use big bus only. Kind regards Hara
Good experience, would recommend
Terri_V, Sep 2023
Guides were knowledgeable and friendly. Accommodations were a bit out dated, but clean. Food for dinner and breakfast at the hotel were ok There is an adequate amount of time at each site to explore and get some pictures, but if you are someone who like To take their time and explore you may feel rushed
Breathtaking views
Jo_R, Sep 2023
The guide was very attentive, and the views were spectacular. I would have liked a little more time in Delphi, we were a little rushed.
Not bad but not so good tour
Ernaline_A, Sep 2023
We felt we were rush to visit the ruins we didn’t even able togo visit the museum in Delphi because we have to leave snd transfer to another ride togo to the hotel in kalambaka the guide is nice but not that much knowledgeable about the places in meteora not like the guide in Delphi she is great i think not worth the money we paid
Response from Host, Sep 2023
Dear client, Thank you for your review. Please check you voucher's exclusions and you will see that the Delphi museum was not included to your program. It is very clear at our advertised itinerary of the tour that the museum was not included due to time limits. Thank you Hara
I know the weather was not in your control but the arrangements were in your control.
Victoria_G, Sep 2023
The tour guides was excellent, knowledgeable and informative. The low rating was for the management team of the tour. It should have been cancelled due to the dangerous conditions of the weather. We were not being kept informed about the long delays, or alternative arrangements for hotel. The bus was extremely uncomfortable!! Very tight and temperature was difficult to control. For so many hours could not move. I can fly to Canada in mor comfortable conditions. We should be compensated in some way.
Response from Host, Sep 2023
Dear Victoria, Thank you for your review. Our company tried very hard to offer the tour services under bad weather conditions. There was not any possibility for alternative hotel arrangments last minute . As the group was 19 persons we used 22 seated Mercedes Benz minibus. Beleive us the easy way is to cancel the tour and destroy the vacation of the travellers. The National high way closed for some hours and this was not under of our control and we never been informed that will be closed. Our guides are proffesional expertised and well prepared to take care of the tour always. We offered to you all included services : guides, transportation with Mercedes bus (first on the category) hotel accommodation, dinner and breakfast at the Amalia hotel (4 stars). kind regards Hara Kritikidou Customer Service Manager
The time spent at Delphi...
Sudha_S, Aug 2023
The time spent at Delphi was rushed. We had to choose between seeing the ruins fully and the museum. That was disappointing after the long bus rides. The hotel for lunch the second day was average.
Exceptional
Kimberley_R, Aug 2023
Tour guides & driver were great. Delphi - If you want to reach the top and a quick visit to the museum then you must leave the tour guide and head up. Worth the effort. The visit to the Monasteries were exceptional. Accommodation and meals were terrific. Value for money.
Travel to Delphi and Meteora
Alexander_P, Aug 2023
Good guides, nice places to visit. Would recommend to everyone. Very picturesque route. Good hotel with dinner and breakfast.
2 separate trips may be better
Maria_N, Aug 2023
Meteora was incredible; we were not given hardly enough time in Delphi - we were rushed through and moved on so quickly. I cannot review Delphi for this reason. Our initial guide to Delphi appeared stressed and on edge - our guide to meteora was thorough and very helpful - the Amalia hotel was very nice and the food was incredible.
Depends what you want.
Kerryne_B, Jul 2023
I was disappointed with the first day. We started combined with a 1 day tour, and there was confusion over what each tour was doing and when to get on a separate bus. We only got a short time at Delphi and no free time to explore ourselves, it was all at the direction of our guide. Her English was difficult to understand and her description of what would happen that day kept changing. It was frustrating and I was anxious I'd miss the changeover bus. The 2 day tour DOES NOT get to see the Delphi museum, which is next to the site and contains important artefacts that were referred to by the guide as she directed us around the site. It felt like we only had half the experience. This was all made up on the second day. The second guide for Meteroa could not have been more perfect. Friendly, informative, and she carefully explained each meeting point and activity. The trip to the monasteries was incredible, and made it all worthwhile. I didn't find the walk into each site difficult. The hotel is very nice. The bus rides had regular bathroom breaks at places food and drinks can be bought. I recommend the tour, but if you are mainly interested in Delphi, just do the 1 day tour.
Strange setup, better second half.
Traci_T, Jul 2023
This was a very disjointed tour. We started the first day with one tour guide at Delphi, I would rate lower. I couldn’t hear half of what she said on the bus on the way. I wish we had more time at Delphi (although the heat maybe changes that). Then we were sent to a different tour guide (a group that had been together for a couple of days on a longer group tour). This tour guide was much better and the group was much smaller. I wish I had been with them from the beginning. The second half of this trip was significantly better than the first half (even including having our bus break down and being stranded on the highway for 1 1/2 hours in extreme heat). The would rate my second half 5/5 but the first 3/5 at the highest…. I didn’t like switching groups part way through. I felt awkward joining a group that had been together for a while already.
Delphi and Meteroea tour time is not balanced at all for 2 days trip.
Saranya_R, Jul 2023
Delphi tour was essentially provided for an hour before the bus transfer to Metroea. That is not enough to cover 30% of the ruins. Not to mention about the time to visit stadium and Museum.
