Due to the fact that sunset is at different time per month please note that pick up is as follows : April , May, August at about 18:00 June, July at about 18:30 September at about 17:30 October at about 17:00 November, December, January at about 15:00 February, March at about 15:30 At Low Season, we visit a restaurant about 70 meters ( 230 feet) from the seaside.

A Perfect Excursion

Our guide and driver, Mr George, is a good driver, courteous, kind, polite, knowledgeable, easy going, and had such a relaxed persona. The way to The Temple of Poseidon from Athens is lengthy but worth it, the drive is scenic and beautiful. We weren’t rushed, Mr. George took time to make some stops at various notable spaces on the way there and back. The restaurant where we had dinner, had a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere and the food was delicious. We extremely enjoyed our time, it will be one of the most memorable moments of our time here in Greece.

Very fun half-day trip!

This was a lovely half-day trip! We really enjoyed talking with our guide Theo and he took us to some lovely spots to admire the coast and take some photos. We enjoyed our dinner at Ilias Fish Tavern and we absolutely loved The Temple of Poseidon. We also grabbed some ice cream at Waffle House on the way back to Athens and it was a great trip!

Amazing tour to Camp Sounin

Our tour guide was GREAT. So knowledgeable about ALL of Greece's history, not just our destination. She also was exceptional taking care of our needs and assisting one of us who has some mobility issues and the other dietary needs. Her choice of a restaurant was also incredible and we had one of the best meals anywhere. The sunset was amzi g as we sat waterfront !

We were picked up at the hotel. Nathan was kind intelligent and very knowledgeable. It was an amazing drive and great sites with an awesome sunset. Skip the fish restaurant I would give it a two star except for the ambience and views.

Magical sunset tour

The sunset is outstanding from the temple of Poseidon. There are ample spots for observing the sunset. The meal following the sunset experience was in a fabulous fish restaurant right by the beach area. Magical! It was the highlight of our tour Giorgios our guide was amazing!

This is a must trip in Athens. The history and mythology of the temple is only matched by how awesome sunset is here. Theo is and amazing guide. He is professional and courteous and made the whole trip even better.

Beautiful Evening!

We had a fabulous evening with Nathan driving to Cape Sounion and dining next to the sea! Nathan was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and an excellent driver - from communication prior to our prompt hotel pickup to the drop off at the end of the evening, everything was handled perfectly. We received bottled water upon pickup and were driven in a beautiful and comfortable Mercedes while Nathan skillfully navigated the busy streets of Athens to get us out to the Cape, and we had the best conversations with him about the area, the people and the culture (past and present). The Temple of Poseidon was beautiful, and the sunset over the Aegean was gorgeous. The seaside restaurant for dinner was great...good food plentifully prepared by local family chefs, with a view you just can't beat of the Temple and the surrounding sea. At the end of the evening, we passed on the offer of a stop for ice cream so Nathan gave us instead some parting gifts of Greek treats which we enjoyed later. An incredible evening, and we highly recommend!

You’ll Regret Not Taking This Tour

A must do tour when you’re visiting Athens. Coincidentally we met another couple on a ferry that did this same tour and they felt exactly the same. The car was extremely nice and our guide, Cos, stood out as one of the highlights of the tour. Not only was he prompt and courteous, but he shared a history that not only encompassed the events but painted a picture of the social and political Hellenic experience that you hardly ever receive from traditional museums. The view of Cape Sounion and Temple of Poseidon were truly breathtaking and a once in a lifetime experience. Relative to other restaurants experienced in Greece, food and service was just okay but the view and general ambiance at the restaurant was also one of a kind. No need to debate on taking this trip. We would absolutely do it again. Thank you, Cos!

The sights were amazing and so was the food! I would definitely recommend this tour and Giorgos as driver and host. If I’d known how well this tour would go, I’d have booked additional excursions with Crispy Local and Giorgos for my vacation

The drive along the coast is amazing!

Our ride to the Posieden Temple was fabulous. Our tour guide Theo was knowledgeable and stopped at several photo ops along the way. The drive along the coast is worth the whole trip. We had an awesome meal at a sea side restaurant at the base of the monument and watched the sunset. Theo also took us to a great ice cream stop on the way back. This is a great way to spend an evening after several days in Athens.

Surpassed expectations

I can truly say this was the highlight of my trip to Athens, Loannis was so knowledgeable about places, culture, food any anything in between that I would and could ask. The drive and scenery was incredible. The food was delicious in a small local family owned restaurant next to the sea with beautiful views of the temple of Poseidon and Athens cost line, so sorry I forgot the name of the restaurant, nothing fancy but the food surpassed expectation, don’t go by looks. Food was deliver fast and as good as any Michelin class restaurant. Views of the sunset and the full moon to follow the sunset were amazing… to close on a sweet note the last stop at the Waffle House for the most delicious ice cream was the cherry on top of an amazing afternoon and a closure of a wonderful trip to Greece. Thank you for an amazing evening, looking forward to do it again next time I visit Athens. Karla T

This was a truly exceptional tour! Our tour guide/driver was excellent and definitely earned his tip. We felt well taken care of from the moment we were picked up at our hotel to the minute he dropped us off 5 hours later. Since the usual restaurant that's closest to the Temple was closed on the day we chose to tour, our guide had an excellent substitute. We sat out on a terrace along the Aegean in the evening...it doesn't get any better than that! A real pleasure to have dinner pre-paid, as well. His choice of post-Temple ice cream establishments was also spot-on! Yummy! The real highlight of this tour, however, is the sunset and the Temple of Poseidon. Neither one disappoints. The Temple is quite awesome both from a distance and close up...I have some magnificent pictures that I managed to capture without other people in them even though it was peak tourist season. Sunset was easily in the top three I've ever seen in my life even with Sahara sands blowing up from Africa. What helps is the beautiful Aegean islands that are in view. My wife and I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a truly romantic experience and awesome natural beauty!

Ok but George makes the trip

George is a real gentleman and very knowledgeable. The restaurant is a very casual place. As long as you’re not expecting phenomenal food or service you’ll be fine. The food is just ok and the service is not good at all but it’s a great view. Don’t skip the ice cream place. George makes the trip
