The trip to Delphi was amazing! The driver was punctual to pick us up from our hotel and they were flexible in dropping us off to our desired locations at the end of the tour. Effie was very knowledgeable about the history. During our ride there, she informed us of Athens’ history. During the tour itself, she explained the various structures and allowed us time to explore on our own. The lunch was delicious (4 courses!!) and the view from our dining area was breathtaking! I will definitely recommend this tour to family and friends, and take future tours with this company while in Athens.

Fascinating

It was the first time I did a guided tour but I loved the way Giota guided us through the landscape and through history. She was a mine of knowledge, and you could tell how much she loved what she talked about. She was also very approachable and welcomed questions. I particularly enjoyed how she talked about the Greek language and how different words were related to one another. I also enjoyed the lunch with a spectacular view of the lake.
Fantastic tour

Fantastic tour. Totally worth the money. Our tour guide was awesome, she was very knowledgeable not just about ancient Greek history but also modern Greek history. She informed us about a lot of things throughout the way. The bus was super comfortable and journey was beautiful. They don't allow eating food on the bus except consuming water, you can bring snacks with you in a bag though. Also, there are two stopovers (about 30 mins) for snacks and bathroom, and another longer (1 hour) stopover for lunch. We didn't take lunch with the tour, but there were some very good and cheap options for food in Delphi town. This tour involves walking alot, so keep a sun block, sun glasses, water and wear comfy shoes. I would highly recommend this trip. It was greatly managed and adhered to time. 10/10, would recommend!
Good trip, avoid the lunch

Loved the ruins and museum. Hated the crowds and rude people. Some guy who kept climbing on all of the ruins, pushed my mother causing her to twist her knee. We went in the off season, but it was still packed. Greece mandates that the school children must go to archeological sites, which is cool in theory, but having multiple classes of bored teens just standing in the way of crowds, playing on their phones, is annoying. I would not do the trip with the lunch again. The cheese, spinach pies, and dessert were tasty, but the bread and chicken were dry and unseasoned. I would suggest going out on your own to get food.
excellent tour

I really enjoyed the tour guide's presentation, it was very informative and entertaining. The driver also very good, getting us through all the traffic.
Enjoyed tour

Nice day trip
Esther_S, Mar 2024
we had such a lovely time at Delphi our guide was very knowledgeable. Thanks Dimitria. The lunch option that we chose was quite good at the Amalia Hotel.
Highly recommend!
Marites_O, Mar 2024
We really enjoyed our visit to Delphi & learning about its history with our fantastic tour guide, Demetria. She was the perfect guide, very professional & knowledgeable about Greek culture. The tour was very well organised and we never felt rushed. Highly recommend this day tour!
Great tour, except for food
Ryan_D, Feb 2024
Delphi is really nice! Great sightseeing tour, really nice coach bus. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable in the museum as well. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE LUNCH OPTION. The food is disgusting (cold chicken, and potatoes), if you opt out they will leave you in town for an hour to get lunch at a local restaurant.
Response from Host, Feb 2024
Dear Ryan, We are thank you for review ! Glad to see that you enjoyed the tour except lunch therefore you gave us 3 stars. Did you informed your guide about your cold plate or asked the waiter to assist you? please advise in order to check your complain. Kind regards Hara Kritikidou Customer Service Manager

Our Guide was very knowlegable and passionate about his tour. It was a long day but worth it. It was a wonderful day.
Worthwhile tour to Delphi
Steven_Z, Feb 2024
This tour was excellent and the guide was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Greek history and mythology. Delphi is in a beautiful setting and location. The village of Arachova was charming and quaint. We had two issues though with this tour…..20 minutes in Arachova is way too short and more time needs to be spent there. The second issue was …..none of the 4 of us (all adults) felt the lunch that we paid extra for was worth it. Otherwise it was a good tour.,
A great site to visit
Lachlan_M, Feb 2024
Delphi is a wonderful, fascinating place to visit. A must-see on your tour of Greece. The trip from Athens is long (particularly with the bridges being washed out from the 2023 floods). And the return journey has to battle its way through Athens peak hour. Maybe choose a weekend rather than a week day. Our guide was knowledgeable, and informative. The Delphi site tour was fascinating, the museum part of the tour was rushed (which was disappointing). Lunch was perfect, but the return journey included a stop off at a cheap tourist store (which was a waste of time). I would still do a Delphi tour again, but I would lower my expectations a bit before I went. Other tours (Meteora) are much, much better.
Great day trip
Kristyna_B, Jan 2024
Its a long day but was a highlight of our trip as we saw some of the countryside outside of Athens, heard some great stories about the Greek gods and their drama, saw some of the lakes and ski towns (!!) and of course spent some time wandering around the archaeological site. Only recommendation would be to skip the lunch at the hotel and get your own in the town - the bus will let you off and pick you up. The hotel is pretty cool in terms of architecture and the view is nice but the food is very hotel/convention/conference type food and I bet the little cafes in town have better options. All in all, it was a great day and we all enjoyed the tour.
Great day trip for those who love history and mountains
Jerusha_K, Dec 2023
The mountains are so beautiful! The drive was lovely! The lunch at the hotel amalia was divine! Would recommend for sure.
Super recommend!
Marta_D, Dec 2023
The driver and the guide were super cool and fun!🥰Very organized and knowledgeable guide. They picked me up on my convenience!
Exceeded expectations
Rachael_S, Dec 2023
I absolutely loved this trip, our guide was so knowledgeable and brought Delphi to life. We also learned lots about Greece just on the way as various areas and sights were pointed out. It's a great day trip away from the hustle and bustle of Athens.
Wonderful, but not Those challenged by stairs
Ward_D, Dec 2023
The area around Delphi is beautiful, and the very important archaeological site as well worth seeing in person. It is complemented by the museum that is at the site. Be advised, however, that the site is a 3 Hour Dr. from Athens. Also, it is situated on a fairly steep slope, so there are many steps to take you up the mountain. I would classify the activity level as moderately severe to severe, and I do not recommend it for older people who have any difficulty at all walking.
Great Service
KWEELENG_C, Dec 2023
The driver drives around safely, The tour guide is very professional with his narration and he has great sense of humour. We gained insight form this tour. The lunch at a cost of an additional is worth it as it comes with appetizer, salad, tasty main course and dessert.
A great day but vegetarian food could be better
Christina_F, Dec 2023
I had a wonderful day and Stathis our tour guide was very knowledgable and fun. It is so beautiful to see these monuments. However, the lunch for vegetarians compared to non-vegetarians could definitely be better (chicken pasta vs a plate of chips and salad). How difficult is it to make vegetarian pasta? Anyway, I would recommend this day but maybe without the meal.
Outstanding trip.
Chris_B, Dec 2023
Joy was an excellent guide. Her knowledge was incredible. She brought the trip to life. We highly recommend the trip to Delphi.
