Overview
Cruise the Bacalar Lagoon to the Black Cenote and Cenote Esmerelda on a half-day snorkeling tour of the spectacular ‘Lake of Seven Colors.’ You’ll pass through the Pirates' Channel, pause to make mud masks from sulfurous mud, and slip into the water to snorkel at both cenotes. Before returning to shore, navigate to the Island of Birds, a haven for some of the migratory birds that flock to the Bacalar Lagoon.

The trip was a wonderful experience. We got to make a few swim stops at beautiful locations with incredibly clear water. The guides were great and they never left our drink cups empty during the tour. The fruit served in the water was refreshing.

Will absolutely recommend. Lovely vibes, crew and drinks!! Got to see the cenote and swim in the crystal blue water. The tour did not feel rushed, but wished it lasted longer.

The captain and his staff were so friendly and accommodating. They told us all about the lagoon and showed all the beautiful places. I would highly recommend this tour.

It was a rare rainy and gray day in Bacalar, but Raúl made our trip fun! We had music, drinks, and he showed off his knife skills with an awesome fruit platter! Definitely recommend!

Raul and Ellie made this experience spectacular. So friendly, so accommodating. We had a great time seeing all the unique spots around the lagoon. The trip is about 3 hours (I think) but it is so laid back and chill. Our group of 4 was with a larger group of 12 and so we got a chance to meet some great people from many different countries. That adds to the experience of the tour. Great drinks, delicious fruit, friendly co-travellers, wonderful hosts, and unbelievable scenery. This is absolutely a must-do when in the area.

It was a wonderful day and I loved the captain and crew. I would do this again for sure! We had some really good fruit and stopped a couple times to swim in crystal clear water that wasn't too deep.

Book this tour! Miguel and Ellie were our tour guide and bartender. My husband and I had so much fun and learned a lot about Bacalar and the lagoon. We spent most of the tour in disbelief that this was real life. Never have I seen such beautiful water and foliage. The group was so fun and we had plenty of time to visit and learn about one another. As if the colors of the lagoon weren’t amazing enough, the surprise at the end of our evening tour was something straight out of a movie. The tour was the perfect combination of relaxing, indulging, learning, and having a blast! We will definitely return if we are back in Bacalar again!
