Experience the buzz of skydiving by taking part in a Baltimore Indoor Skydiving experience. You won’t have to worry if you’re a first-time skydiver, as an experienced flight instructor will go through specialized training with you. Take the stress out of jumping out of a plane, by going in a vertical wind tunnel instead. You’ll take part in a small-group training session, then enjoy two exhilarating sessions of free-fall flights in the wind tunnel.

Confirmation will be received at time of booking
If you have previous neck, back, heart, injuries or shoulder dislocations, are pregnant or wearing a hard cast - you will not be able to fly.
In order to provide a safe experience for its customers and instructors, iFLY may not be able to accommodate flyers who weigh between 260-300 lbs and will not be able to accommodate flyers whose weight exceeds 300 lbs. Upon check in for flight reservations, additional evaluation by local staff will be required to determine if flyers between 260-300 lbs can be accommodated and whether additional restrictions may apply.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Q:How does the Baltimore Indoor Skydiving Experience work?

A:A vertical wind tunnel has fans at the top to draw air through the flight chamber and then push it back down the sides. The air is then compressed & sped up before it reenters the flight chamber causing a smooth column of air that enables you to fly.

A:It is important that you arrive on time for your scheduled session. Your experience will begin promptly upon your arrival so please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early for your reservation so you have time to check in.

Q:Do I fly alone or with a group during the Baltimore Indoor Skydiving Experience?

A:Generally, a group of up to 12 guests fly in each session. Your friends and family will be part of the same group, however, you will fly one at a time in the flight chamber one-on-one with your instructor.

A:Each flight within the wind tunnel lasts 60 seconds. The entire iFLY first-time flyer experience takes approx. 1 hour and 30 minutes from start to finish.

A:If someone chooses to come to watch, he or she is welcome to accompany you through your experience and can watch from the observation area.

Q:Is it scary during the Baltimore Indoor Skydiving Experience?

A:Generally, no. There’s no jumping, no falling, and no experience is needed. You simply float on a column of air. There is no sensation of falling or anything that would make you feel motion sickness.

Q:Is it hard to breathe during the Baltimore Indoor Skydiving Experience?

A:Not at all. It is the same as if you stick your head out a car window while driving. All you feel is the wind in your face. Just breathe normally, either through your mouth or your nose.

Dishonest Booking

Viator booked us for for a 630 appointment when their last appointment is at 5. We arrived just before 6 to find the doors locked, we called them and they told us that they have had this happen with viator often lately and told us they would refund the money or reschedule, we were getting ready to fly home so rescheduling was not a option. after a few days of not seeing a refund, we contacted viator and they are refusing to issue a refund.

This was a really neat experience that we chose to do for my husband’s 40th birthday! The staff there made it really easy to conquer what could be an intimidating experience. My only critique would be to allow more than 1 minute flying time per turn (our package included 2 turns each person). It is a substantial amount of money to do this, so to only have 120 seconds included in the price is a little misleading. You can add on another 1 minute turn if you want while in there, but they’ll charge you an additional $20 to do so. It’s such a neat experience, I would love to have more time in the tube. I highly recommend it for a fun and unique experience!

Good experience, but was too expensive. In order to get better experience you needed to add on services. Also , they didn’t tell you to pull your hair up. My hair got extremely tangled from the high winds, they should have mentioned this a head of time.
