Overview

Explore the underwater world off the coast of Bermuda while wearing a Hartley diving helmet. During this 3.5-hour eco-tour, don the specialized helmet and climb down the ladder of the fully-equipped glass bottom boat, then simply walk around on the ocean floor. Delight in this unusual underwater activity, which is easier than snorkeling or scuba diving and more interactive. Spend 30-40 minutes traipsing around the sea's sandy bottom, getting a close look at the vividly colored coral reefs. Use of all equipment, including wet suits, is included. Hotel pickup and drop-off not included.

Meeting and Pickup

2 N Arm, Dockyard, Bermuda
Departure Point: Helmet diving vessel, Rainbow Runner will be along side the dock face perpendicular to Heritage Wharf, Dockyard about 25 minutes before departure, right next to the Moongate. It is a circular architectural curiosity across the road/parking area from the Island Tour Centre.

Such a wonderful experience! Our Captain and his son were very friendly and informative! The water was cold but the wetsuits made the trip enjoyable! I learned all about the fish and coral reef. I highly recommend this tour!

The tour company charged the Full price the day prior to the scheduled TOUR DATE. We Wrote them CONFIRMING The tour AND NEVER HEARD A WORD . We went through the expense and time to get to the departure area AND THE VENDOR NEVER SHOWED UP ! DO NOT BOOK this VENDOR and DO NOT COUNT on Viator for assistance as VIATAR gave no assistance when we let them know . As of this moment ( 24 hrs later ) there is still no refund of the original 300.00 dollars charged .

We had the best day! We loved meeting the fish and the beautiful eel. My daughter was very hesitant and almost backed out. Ben and Greg did everything they could to make her comfortable and she had so much fun and cannot wait to do it again. Thank you!!

This was the most amazing experience and I don't think I'll ever experience another excursion quite like it. The diving experience was not rushed and gave us plenty of time to experience the underwater world. It's pretty obvious that the tour guide was passionate about what he does and respects the fish and wildlife and the relationship with them. I would recommend booking directly as if you book on their website photos and video is included.

Overall a great experience we will remember forever!

This was a great experience that I would definitely recommend. Great for kids and adults! My boyfriends son is 12 and he was a little nervous at first but did just fine. He said it was his best day on the trip! For those that have difficulty with traditional Skuba diving or tend to panic this was a great beginner alternative where you’re free to enjoy an awesome experience without having to worry about a bunch of equipment. I also accidentally booked twice. Once through Apple Pay on the browser and once on the viator app which the tour guides brought to my attention when we arrived. They took care of everything and refunded me one of the charges within one business day.

This was war beyond what I imagined. Greg and Ben were excellent.. Greg did the underwater dive and explained everything. He showed us different corals and fish. Ben drove the boat and maintained the lines. A+

The highlights of this experience is being under the water, seeing and holding fish and seeing the many types of coral. The leader was interested in teaching us about the coral and fish and to make sure we had an enjoyable and memorable experience. This was one of the best experiences I ever had.

The Hartleys were great tour guides and hosts. Better than we ever imagined. Able to see fish and marine life in their natural habitats up close. Better than snorkeling. Was on the bottom ocean floor for about 45 minutes with Greg guiding us through the coral reef.

Such an amazing experience! I would definitely do a helmet diving excursion again! Although I misplaced my thumb drive, the owner was gracious enough to agree to mail me another one.
