This is the cutest small business RIGHT next to the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute in the Birmingham Civil Rights District. It's really a qiuck one block walk away. The ladies let us in early and we got some snacks. After the tour, the guide even bought us lunch at Green Acres, the black owned restaurant next to the historic Birmingham barbershop where President Obama got his hair cut! This really was a great tour, they even have a cute "protest sign making station" and I helped my 3 year old color a protest sign. :)

My daughter and I had a very special and memorable tour with Antonio. She shared her knowledge about the history of the Civil Rights Movement in Birmingham and the role of children in the struggle for social justice. Antonio is a warm and friendly person who is very passionate and proud of this history. The stories she told helped us understand how current challenges faced by the Black community are routed in the past. I highly recommend this Tour group and Antonio as a guide.
