Let me start by saying that this is a fantastic way to see the Bishkek and the surrounding area. My tour started off with the guide, Baeiel, picking me up on time. We headed straight to Ala Archa National Park where we had a pleasant hike with some tremendous scenery overlooking the Tien Shan mountain range. We then had a very tasty lunch that included the traditional samsy beef pastry and some kebab which was really yummy. We then meandered around the city visiting different parks, markets, and landmarks as the guide explained interesting historical anecdotes. Baeiel was incredibly friendly, easy to talk to, and did a great job explaining Kyrgyz culture. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who has a day to spare and wants a formal introduction to the city while getting some good cardio.

This was indeed a perfect day tour in Bishkek. Our guide, Makhabat, did a great job of pacing the tour for us middle-aged, inexperienced hikers. The climb up to the waterfall, while quite challenging, was well worth the effort. We were glad that we chose the harder option. The city portion of the tour was informative and well-thought-out. I would certainly recommend this and any tour with Ventura Tours Kyrgyzstan!

Kyrgyzstan is rich in natural beauty, as well as significant culture and history. Ashat made it educational, entertaining, and fun. Combining the national park and city tour was a great idea and I had a wonderful time.

This truly was the perfect day exploring the world class alpine landscape of Ala Archa Park! Also, it was lovely seeing the best of Bishkek. My guide, Azubek, was not only an amazing storyteller full of comprehensive information about the settings, he also was extremely knowledgeable about the park’s geology, as well as medically proficient, making him the perfect hiking companion for someone with physical limitations. This tour was the perfect blend of history, culture, physical activity, and natural beauty. I would highly recommend this excursion.
