Gives you a glimpse of how other Colombias live, gets you out of the zones made for tourist. People there seemed friendly, you can see grafitti art throught out the area. Cable car ride gives you a good view of the area from above. I think the favelas have a bad reputation of being dangerous, but never felt like I was in danger at all.

100% Authentic experience with wonderful guides

Hands down the best tour we have ever done, David was a fantastic guide, we felt safe at all times and learnt so much about the Cuidad Bolivar and it’s history. It ended up being a private tour for my partner and I which was fantastic, when it started to pour with rain at the top of the cable car we were taken for lunch at a wonderful local restaurant. 100% recommend this tour to understand more about Bogota and it’s surrounding areas and history! The best part for us were the two dogs who accompanied us through the town it felt like we had 2 extra guides showing us their home 🩷

A fantastic experience ! Our English-speaking guide, Samuel, was A+ and super knowledgeable about the history of the favelas. The cable car was clean and fun, the street art world-class and the colorful photos and memories will sit with me forever. We even tasted local drinks after the tour. The cable car was fun and the views spectacular, but I'm not sure having a guide made much difference. I didn't feel like I got a good sense of the neighborhood or the purpose of the tour. That said, David and John were very nice and it was fun hanging out with locals. Another negative was that it took up a lot of time due to travel time/traffic. I had only one day so maybe this would have been a better choice if I had had more time.

We were running terribly late because of traffic but he stood in complete communication with us the whole way. The vehicle was very easily identifiable which gets bonus marks from us as my friend and I struggle with Spanish. He was even flexible after we told him that our original flight from Toronto to Bogota was canceled and didn't double charge us. Also a nice touch, the tour includes a pitstop to a scrumptious bakery! Overall I strongly urge anyone in the Bogota area to attend this excursion. Than you to Fransico for making us feel at home in Bogota!

Hello, your case is exceptional for us, because we have a 100% compliance policy, we are finding out with Viator what happened because they did not notify us of the information and we did not know the time, name or telephone number of the client. About the refund please do it directly with viator they did not inform us and the tour does not appear in our database for which we did not receive any payment for this tour

The tour was great! the views, the bakery, and knowledge provided by the guide. You also get access to photos from previous tours and a documentary. It's nice to be off the beaten path and understand a bit about migration in South America , equity projects, public infrastructure, and transportation.
