Luis was an excellent guide who was very knowledgeable of this tour plus other "must see" things for us to do while in the Bogota area. In addition, Jessica at Hacienda Coloma was excellent as she took us through the entire process of planting the coffee plants to drinking our coffee.

Coffee to go 👌🏽🤩

A fantastic day at a beautiful Colombian hacienda. It is is definitely not just for coffee lovers! The great coffee, and coffee liquor is just extra. 🤩 We had an amazing tourguide Diego, who led us to the coffee farm, who is just absolutely amazing. We felt safe, taken care of, and well informed through out the whole day. Diego really did everything to make us feel comfortable and meet all our needs, including to provide vegan food for the group. ❤️🙏🏽 At the hacienda we learnt so much about coffee, what was genuinely interesting, and the tasting at the end of the day was really the icing of the cake. ☕️👌🏽

This was an awesome tour. We learned a whole lot and enjoyed the time at the coffee farm a lot. We couldn't do the lunch that day but would book with lunch next time.

The tour was fantastic, our guide was so informative and was able to answer all our questions. It was really nice walking through the coffee plants picking and learning about the process. The gardens are stunning with some beautiful flowers.

The hacienda is a very green, beautiful, quiet place. Besides the coffee plants there are also exotic flowers and fruit trees. Our guide Miguel did a wonderful job in assisting us and catering to our needs such as bringing us to a vegetarian restaurant for lunch. The other guide Jessica gave extensive information about the coffee making process, from planting the seeds to the final roasting process. We had an excellent time and enjoyed it very much.

Good Time a Hacienda La Coloma

Visiting a coffee farm is a must do when going to Colombia. That was what we did last week on our trip to Bogota. This was a great choice for us to get a glimpse of the country's coffee culture and history. The tour was very well structured and pace was very comfortable for people who want to use Bogota as a base for short day tours. Gran Colombia Tours did a great job arranging this and our tour guide Francisco was very knowledgeable and passionate. We absolutely enjoyed the tour!

A great day trip from Bogota

Such a great tour. The farm in itself is very interesting, the staff are very knowledgeable, kind and professional. Jessica was our tour guide in the farm and we went with Sergio who was our guide from Bogota. We laughed a lot and learned a lot, got to pick beans and learn about the entire process. The farm had some chickens and rabbits too, and it was very beautiful to learn the history of coffee in Colombia. Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Bogota.

It was an enjoyable day. Our Gran Colombia guide, Luis, was excellent as was the guide at the coffee farm. We learned a lot about local flora, in addition to coffee production. Learning how to select and actually pick beans was interesting!

We had a brilliant time with Cristian at Hacienda La Coloma. We learnt so much about Colombia from Cristians great knowledge. He also gave us a little tour of Fusagasugá and took us to a great local spot for lunch! We would 100% recommend.

This tour was awesome!!! My guide, Juan Carlos, was just amazing! Juan Carlos was nice, funny, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. We visited the coffee farm and learned about the coffee production process. The coffee tasting was also great! I did the lunch option and got to try a traditional Colombian lunch —highly recommend it! The driver, Carlos, was also so sweet! Definitely do this tour! It is great for families, couples, and solo travelers. You most certainly won’t want to miss it!

Great way to spend the day out of Bogota city! The tour was planned well. It was insightful, refreshing and interesting. I always felt very well cared for throughout the day. The main tour guide, Luis, was very friendly, knowledgable and welcoming. Luis ensured all aspects of the tour tailor-made to my interests and needs. He has shared very interesting facts about coffee, Bogota and Colombia. He kept me highly entertained during the whole day. Carlos, the driver, was very sweet and has been extremely attentive. Juan, the guide at the farm, was also extremely knowledgable, friendly and helpful. The whole tour was a great chilled and extremely friendly experience. Highly recommended👍🏻

In spite of the protests impacting the scheduled plans (e.g., we took the "scenic route" and had to skip lunch due to time constraints), David showed up with lot of enthusiasm, and we really enjoyed talking with him. The grounds at La Coloma are beautiful, and we enjoyed learning more about coffee growth. I was also excited to get to stop at a local market and pick out some delicious fruit on the way back. Buscamos el tour desde Chile y encontramos este, nos pareció bien completo debido a que incluye desde la cosecha del café hasta la degustación en la mesa, pasando por el secado y tostado, la explicación de los aromas del café y condiciones climaticas/geográficas que necesita permiten comprender muchas cosas interesantes, la finca es hermosa y han grabado algunas telenovelas allí, nuestra guía fue Yelitza y durante el viaje nos fue contando varias cosas de historia que siempre es bueno conocer. Recomiendo el tour.

La visita al cafetal muy interesante y el viaje de Bogotá hasta allí también. Nuestro chofer-guía Camilo muy amable ilustró nuestro viaje con comentarios varios sobre lo que veiamos de camino y sobre el propio país. La visita del lugar Hacienda Coloma fue guiada por un empleado que con soltura nos explicó los 11 pasos de la creación del café listo para beber

Sin bien la finca es bonita no justifica un viaje de 5 horas entre ida y vuelta Lo de la degustación de café es muy básica , solo un vasito .. las instalaciones bastantes viejas .. el chofer y guía muy amables y dispuestos !
