Overview

Wind might not be your best friend when you’re trying to relax on a tropical beach, but it is on this landsailing adventure. You’ll visit the windy side of the island, where the conditions are best for racing across the sand in these special wind-powered carts. After a thorough safety and operational briefing, you’ll get about 50 minutes to race your friends. Try something new while having a great time.

  • No experience driving a blokart is necessary
  • Bring your friends or make new ones on a small-group tour
  • Helmets, gloves, and glasses (if you don’t have your own) will be provided

Pickup details

Pick up is 15 minutes PRIOR to the booked time. (IMPORTANT ... we operate on LOCAL TIME not SHIP TIME) For PORT PICK UP (specify your ship name; we will meet you at the arrival pier): South Pier arrival: wait near the ATM machine on the roadside. As you leave the secure area on the pier, continue straight, up the stairs and towards the road - taxi stand on your left, ATM machine on your right. North Pier arrival: As you leave the secure area on the pier there is a circular monument straight ahead. We will meet you there. Look for the host carrying the Bonaire Landsailing sign. IMPORTANT: Your booking refers to LOCAL TIME. It may be different than SHIP TIME.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

The guides gave excellent instructions and made sure that we were aware of the wind conditions and how to manage the carts. This was an exhilarating experience and would recommend if ever in Bonaire. I would probably only do a half an hour if traveling with younger kids.

Such a fun and unique experience! We had our young children with us and they loved it! Our 8 year old son said it was the most fun thing he’s ever done. Highly recommend!

This was the BEST adventure ever!!! Very unique, anyone and everyone can enjoy this adventure. The coolest thing ever. The owners were AMAZING, the staff was AMAZING, the scenery was AMAZING, and we made memories of a life time!

What's a blokart? It's what you use to "landsail" on a track overlooking the South Caribbean Sea. It's a 100% wind-powered hour or two of fun and adrenaline, yet these vehicles are intelligently designed and quite safe. 100% recommended!

Amazing! This is like a sailing matio-kart, it was so much fun to do with tge kids and as a family. The Trac is nest to the ocean waves crashing and the breeze is amazing. It really is just FUN!

With Bonaire being so windy all the time, it makes it the perfect place for wind sports, including Land Sailing. We had never tried it, so this experience was a lot of fun. The staff was very, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and the land sailers can go legit fast while also allowing you to easily regulate their speed on a track that is wide and easy to navigate. Their land sailers were in great condition and the staff goes through a thorough operation and safety talk before you head out. Add the fact that you are landsailing while also enjoying the spectacular ocean and coastline view of Bonaire, and it makes for an awesome, fun experience. We did an hour session and that was plenty of time to get lots of laps in.

Lots of fun, even with little kids

It was so much fun with our kids! We were in 2 double cards with our 4 and 5 years old Boys. Donna gave perfect instructions, so we had the cards under control and could choose to go slower with the little ones. Unfortunately the time flew by tooo fast! We would definitely do it again!

The staff was so nice, carts were a blast-we would do again! They picked us up just outside cruise port and our driver Naomi was very friendly and gave us a great tour on our way to the track, everything was so great, clean and in great working conditions 😊 thanks again for a fun ride

It's the one thing we can't control ... Mother Nature is responsible for delivering the wind. Usually, on Bonaire, it's pretty reliable. You'll have to come back when it is pumping! Thanks for the lovely review.

One of the best travel experiences we have had to date. From the seamless pickup & drop-off at the cruise port and EVERYTHING in between, this was a fantastic time. My oldest son (9) was able to have his own blokart, and now my youngest who rode with me is counting the days until he is 8 and can return to 'crush us' on the track. He has been post-dating his smack talk. Honestly, if you are thinking about booking this, DO SO, you will not be disappointed. Wonderful people and a wonderful experience. Thank you to Donna, Naomi and your team for a great time!
