Overview
Have fun while swimming and snorkeling in the clear waters of Bonaire on this small-group sea-scooter adventure. All levels of swimmers are welcome, since you really don’t need to swim when using these scooters. Receive a lesson on how to use the scooter, then either follow your guide out to find marine life, or feel free to explore and play as you like.
- Easily meet your instructor at the departure point in Bonaire or the cruise port
- Wear provided life vests if you’d like
- Receive plenty of individual instruction from your guide

Meeting point is at Watersport Center Bonaire. For Cruise ship passengers we can offer pick up at the cruise pier. Your guide will be waiting at the port entrance 15 minute prior to the starting time of your tour. Your guide will be holding a sign with your name. Our company name is 'WhatSup Bonaire'
What To Expect
Additional Info
- Confirmation will be received at time of booking, unless booked within 2 days of travel. In this case confirmation will be received within 48 hours, subject to availability
- Wheelchair accessible
- No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
- Not recommended for travelers with fitness difficulties in daily tasks (walking stairs, putting on shoes ect)
- Please contact us for extra help in case of disabilities
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 5 travelers
Cancellation Policy
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
- This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

What an amazing experience to use the Sea Scooters could have spent hours exploring! The Sea Scooters were very easy to use and fun!
Brendan was excellent tour guide; it was wonderful that he was able to share contrasts of the area since he is from the States. His experience and training as a free diver were also a value as we snorkeled around. He really was fantastic, very willing to be a helpful support to get down to the water. Since the cove we snorkeled in required you to climb down some steep stairs and then climb down some rocks.
The cove we swam in was amazing, this was the first time I have truly felt like I was swimming in a huge aquarium. With schools of fish all over the place, so many different varieties at all levels of the water. We even saw a Spotted Eagle ray. There were also divers in the area, who were planting a nursery of coral.
Just an amazing experience that I would highly recommend! Thank you, Brendan, for making it a wonderful experience!

Awesome excursion! Elora went above and beyond for our group of five, some experienced, some first time snorkelers. Friendly, patient, knowledgeable. Very responsive to questions. Will def book again!

The co-owner was our guide and she was AMAZING. My husband is a little skittish in the water, and she took so much time with him to make sure he enjoyed every minute of the experience. She also took video for us so that we could just take our time and watch the fish and the coral. I cannot say enough good things about the company and the service. When I visit Bonaire again, I will absolutely be booking here again.

Elora was the most amazing instructor and guide!! She definitely tailors the excursion to whatever your ability is and what you want to see! She took us to a secluded, breathtaking bay area to snorkel and stayed with us the whole time! Sea scooters were a blast!

Best excursion of my 8 day cruise. I will do this again and again. Actually missed my appointed time through a misunderstanding, but the guide set my whole family of four to go later together. Very attentive and professional, I would give 10 stars if I could

This was an amazing excursion! Alora picked us up just outside the cruise terminal and got us to the water adventures building. After a brief lesson we were headed to the water. From start to finish this was first class all the way. There were nine on our group and they were able to handle us all. Next time In Bonaire we will do this again!!!!!

Elora is so sweet. I arrived via cruise ship and Elora met us outside the port. She drove us (4 adults) to her store which was only a 5 min ride. She gave everyone their gear and a quick demo. I normally loathe life jackets but the ones provided felt great . She drove us to a beach used by the locals and we walked in from the shore. Some members from my group were scared to go deep into the ocean but she was very understanding. She took those of us who were comfortable to the dropoff point of the water. We saw some beautiful fish. The water in Bonaire is crystal clear. Highly recommend!

We had the BEST time! Elora was such a wonderful guide, and really provided a wonderful experience. Easy pick up from the cruise port, great instruction and then off we went to what was our favorite excursion all week. Highly recommend, especially for beginners like us. We will definitely do this again if we return to Bonaire -super fun!

This trip was worth every penny we paid! Robert and Elora were extremely helpful and nice! Elora showed us the underwater world of Bonaire and taught us a lot about the local fish and coral. We even saw a turtle!
The sea scooters were so much fun, I don’t want to snorkel any other way now! We can’t wait to go back
