What To Expect

Be ready for morning pickup at your hotel in Ocho Rios or the cruise port. Be seated in a comfortable tour vehicle and watch the scenery fly by as you travel through small Jamaican communities in the center of the island. Stop at the country's oldest hydroelectric plant, built in the 1930s.

Upon arrival at the Blue Hole, meet your guide and hike up the waterfalls and swim in the various pools. There is a cave to explore and a rope swing to try. Depart the Blue Hole and continue driving through the local communities, then end up at a souvenir shop or the local craft market.

Return to your hotel or cruise shop for drop-off.

Our tour guide was awesome/ totally recommend the blue hole visit & experience. We were then taken by request & recommendation to the Mystic Mountain rain forest & where we had awesome views from the sky ride & had so much fun on the bobsled ride.

Our driver from Marvin’s tour was the best and he made our tour the best. He accommodated all our needs. Was never rushed. We felt safe. I don’t regret doing this private tour although I was a bit unsure and worried at first, everything turned out perfect! I would do this over again and would recommend this tour. Others who went to Dunn’s river fall the day before even said this was the best!

Our tour guide Dalton was amazing! He was very welcoming and informative. We had a group of 8 friends on the tour and we all agree that this was our favorite excursion on our trip. We didn’t expect the Blue Hole to be so beautiful AND fun. Highly recommend! We enjoyed it more than the Dunn’s River Falls

This tour was so much fun. It's a lot better than the Dunnes River Falls. Our tour guide was Mike and he is so awesome. Make sure you bring water shoes. The best time to go is on the weekend. We went on a Sunday morning and it felt like we were the only ones there.

6 of us signed up for this tour. Our driver Marvin was fantastic! He arrived promptly at the port and was ready to take us to the destination. He assured us several times not to worry about getting back to the cruise ship on time. He was well aware of the time and would make sure we got there. The Blue Hole is amazing and the guides are fantastic. We also stopped to buy sugar cain and coconut. Marvin took us a to a beach for lunch and then a market to do some shopping. Overall, it was our favorite excursion. Don't forget to bring 15 US for the entrance fee for each person and money to tip the guides at the waterfall and for your drive. We knew there would be an entrance fee, we just didn't realize it was 15 a person. kind of pricey in my opinion I'd rather the entrance fee go to the guides and drivers. Thank you for an amazing experience!
