What To Expect

The Boston Duck Tour covers it all—from the State House in the Beacon Hill neighborhood to Bunker Hill and the TD Garden, home to the Boston Celtics. There’s Boston Common, a public park in downtown Boston and the oldest city park in the United States; Copley Square, a sort of public square in the Back Bay neighborhood; the Big Dig central artery/tunnel project; plus Government Center to Newbury Street, Quincy Market to the Prudential Tower and more.

That’s a lot, but that’s not all. It’s time for the duck to float—with a splashdown into the Charles River for a view of the Boston and Cambridge skylines.

Important note: Multi-lingual audio guides available from Prudential Center and Museum of Science departures only.

Going into the water was so exciting! It was a rainy day so the pictures were take. Through the rain covering the boat. Not as clear. The ride was fun and informative. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to everyone!

Besides the tour guide being highly motivated, the spectators reaction was hilarious. We took a family picture at the helm in the water which was special!
It was a blast!!

Loved the history lesson. Ziggy was excellent. She didn't miss a beat! Our 7-year-old grandson loved driving the boat on the water and loved having his picture taken with Ziggy! He had a blast! Nice smooth ride through Boston and the Charles. It's been 21 years since my husband and I did this with our children! We need to get out more often! LOL!
First time to Boston

Seating is inadequate, I am a "smaller" adult and the woman I sat next to was also a smaller adult, to pay that much money and have to be squished side by side with a stranger over an hour, it certainly isn't the best experience. Other than that, it was great! We had a wonderful captain and Julia our driver was great!
Memorable experience for my family and I.
Michael_S, May 2024
Most memorable part of my experience was seeing the city of Boston from land and water. My kids were engaged and had a great time.
A great experience
