I loved this snorkeling experience. The combination of the Coral, Underwater Museum, Turtle Searching & Wreck visit was perfect. The efficiency of the tour is amazing! The value is incredible. Fernando was an incredible guide. The sites absolutely breathtaking. The wreck was my favorite (we didnt see turtles). I highly recommend grab a cover for your iPhone so you get underwater shots. We ended up beign coordinated with Total Snorkel Cancun. Highly highly recommend. I've been on tours in Jamaica, Mexico, Egypt and more via snorkel and scuba and this value is amazing!

This tour was 100% worth every penny. They pick you up and drop you off. We saw turtles, rays, hundreds of fish. Would absolutely recommend to anyone considering going. We did the 7am tour and it was perfect.

we had the entire snorkeling trip to ourselves which was magical to begin with! we saw a plethora of sea life including sea turtles, manta rays, and various fish! do not skip out on this excursion if you are in cancun!!

This was a fantastic trip! It felt like we were out all day but it was only a few hours! There was so much to see and the staff were phenomenal! It was my husband’s first time snorkeling and he LOVED it! We had a great time and would do it all over again! I saw some people had trouble with their pick up and what not. I recommend confirming pick up time the day before with Viator. We asked what time to expect pick up and they were there right on time. If you don’t read the information tabs, etc. you’ll miss the fact you HAVE to confirm pick up with viator! Don’t miss out book this trip! They also offer photo and video packages. We had a GoPro but it was nice to have the option to buy photos of us together and photos we weren’t able to get!

Booked this trip for Mother's day since my mom said she wanted to see turtles. It was short and the reviews gave me confidence that she would be taken care of. Lots of beginners join. My mom is 62 - who has never snorkeled and is scared of the deep ocean. From the briefing all the way to the last stop the team of 3 were incredible at making her feel comfortable. As she was new to snorkeling the snorkel mask didn't work, but we had purchased a full face mask in Tulum so she used that. Our guide Carlos Pina who called us the Pineapple crew was AMAZING at giving her reassurance that she was ok doing great and that she would be able to do it. SO PATIENT. He even pulled her into all the spots needed throughout the experience. It allowed me and my sister to stay focused on our own experience of the tour. Him and the captain Moises would help her up and down the boat at each stop. I have never seen a company give so much focus on beginners and I was really happy as she was being brave and doing something she had never done before. Thank you so much for the experience. You might think, wow 2 hours of swimming is not a lot, but we were all exhausted! And I'm pretty active. They have you chasing turtles for a long time. We did purchase the pictures and it was worth it. We paid $80 for 3. It did say on their website " Get it for only $45 usd (price per family of up to 1-3 people, not per person)." but they said that's only if you buy online. So maybe they can make this more clear. Either way, totally worth it as we swam with fishes and got incredible underwater pictures of this experience. Thank you to Carlos Pina, Moises and the gopro guy! you really made this trip unforgettable for us.

We went out with Oscar as our guide and Captain Carlos. We saw a lot of turtles, a large variety of fish and the shipwreck. The current was a bit strong but the captain drifted with us so we did not have to swim back to the boat which was wonderful. The crew was very attentive. This was to be a small group but we ended up being the only ones. We appreciated them taking us out anyway as some tours would have cancelled. Had a great time and would use them again.

We had a great time snorkeling..thanks to our guide George and captain Eduardo. George let us practice a bit in shallow waters before taking to reef spots. My wife who did snorkeling for the first time enjoyed it a lot. We saw lots of colorful fish, turtles. Another person (dont remember the name) came with us to take pics and videos and they are great. Totally worth the money and fully recommend it.

Paid for the excursion months ago. Waited outside of our hotel for an hour, no one came to get us. Attempted to call AND message tour operator and never got a response. Still waiting to get our money back. Save your money and time - do not book.

I was told there would be transportation to and from my hotel but learned after that it was only for the 7am tour. They were very unhelpful.’the tour guide didn’t speak much English which is understandable but was rude and did not communicate well. My daughters mask was leaking and they put her on a boat and drove away not telling me what was happening. It was very distressing for a mother alone with her children not getting an explanation as to what was going on. I would not recommend this tour to anyone

Safe, thrilling snorkeling even for beginner/ non-swimmers

A HUGE thumbs up to Moises for an amazing experience. I travelled solo with my 7yr old son who loves marine life, but who is still learning to swim (as am I). Even when I opted to remain in the boat, Moises took my son out with him (as you can see holding on to the ring). He had an awesome time and was so excited with the abundance of fish, eels and even loggerhead turtles that he saw. Another snorkeler saw a sting ray as well. Moises took excellent care of the group, and I felt totally confident to leave my child out in the open ocean in his care, as well as under the watchful eye another couple from New Foundland (Hi Karen and hubby!!). It was a very family-like atmosphere on the boat and the windy, overcast and choppy water conditions did nothing to dampen the experience. For beginner/ non-swimmers, be mindful that you do have to jump off the side of the boat which can be quite daunting but Moises was right there waiting for you. I definitely recommend this tour. Do it!

Almost Perfect Experience

Is well planned and enjoyable outing. After being fitted with your snorkeling equipment and taking a boat out to the ocean we will snorkel for about an hour and a half - 2 hours. Moises was an excellent tour leader, and our captain Juan was terrific. We saw many fish, sea turtles, shipwreck, a water Church, and a cenote. Water bottles were provided and very much needed. You will get quite a bit of exercise during this activity. If you are not in decent physical shape, this could be a difficult troop for you. At one point, and this is the only thing my wife and I did not like. The 11 of us in our group had to grab on to a room tossed over the side of the boat, at which point we were then dragged about a mile through the water while all of us held on to the rope. Ouch! People's bodies were forced into others bodies while our legs kicked other people due to the fins we were wearing in the closest to each other we had to endure. Other than that, this was a well-run trip.

The original day of the booking was canceled. I rebooked to the next day and received confirmation of pick up time. The shuttle did not come to get me. After being unable to reach them I took a taxi to the marina that cost almost as much as the tour. They said I was not scheduled till I showed them the receipt and confirmation email from them. They admitted I should be on the tour and added me. The snorkeling was great but it was about 1.5 hours not the 3.5 hours I paid for. Talking with others it sounded like multiple groups had their original times canceled.

Wonderful experience! Oscar was our guide and he was so kind and patient. Very helpful in making sure that everyone in our group saw all the sights! We saw a GIANT turtle and lots of sea life. Highly recommend. Though make sure you are a decent swimmer! Water can get a little rocky.

They confirmed pick-up location and time via Viator message but never showed up the day of. When we called them after waiting for 30 minutes, the person who picked up said there was no record of our reservation/tickets/confirmation number. Still waiting for $150 to be refunded. Big disappointment.

We had so much fun! Pick up was easy, our tour guide was so nice and we saw 3 turtles, a sting ray, and so many beautiful fish. It was the perfect amount of time with the different stops and we still had time to enjoy our resort the rest of the day. We will do this again for sure!

Carlos, Juan and Eddie did a great job! Pictures they took were very good, best snorkeling ever! Saw 2 sea turtles. Cenote wasn’t visible but they took us to another shipwreck on lieu of the underwater Cenote. All and all a good hour in the water. A must experience in Cancun!

We loved seeing a turtle and a stong ray. The boat ride was nice. We were disappointed our 20% off coupon was not applied and I’ve requested s credit back twice. Also disappointed we didn’t visit cenote as promised- one of the main reasons we went. They didn’t even tell Is why. When we got back asked and they said it was too cloudy. Communication is so important this was a real bummer.

The boat skipper, snorkelling guide and video man were attentive and helpful without being in the way. We saw fish, the underwater museum, large turtles one of which swam next to my husband and the underwater cenote. At 74 we were a bit concerned but the experience was fantastic.

35 minutes late to pick up

We waited 25 minutes for the hotel pick and they didn't show so we went to beach at our hotel. Recieved a text that had arrived 10:35. Didn't notice right away ran up to hotel and they had left. Was charged for a no show. Customer service was quite rude to trying to understand they were part of the problem.

Excursion was amazing! Guides were all great and knowledgeable! A little bit scary if you haven’t snorkeled before as you go in the middle of the ocean to snorkel but well worth it! Guides (Team Pineapple) made me feel so comfortable! I felt completely safe as I followed the lead the whole time but still was able to experience the full beauty of it. We were able to see everything that was listed in the description! Shipwreck and cenote was my favorite. Eduardo (captain) knows his boat and the water for sure! The “paparazzi” was very nice & also made me feel comfortable. Make sure to bring cash to tip all 3 of the guides!
