Highly recommend, absolutely worth the money. The cenote swim was completely amazing! Your not allowed to take any form of camera's with you, only type of picture you can get is by purchase only, which doesn't include anything from inside of the cenote. The snorkeling experience was great, we seen many turtles. Only thing I would of liked to experience more of was being taken out a little deeper to see more coral reefs, but it was still beautiful. The guides were great, Enrique was fantastic!

No swimming with the turtles or seeing any sea life in the murky lagoon.
Charmayne_R, Apr 2024
My family was disappointed with this excursion. It had been very windy the day before and the day of our excursion causing the ocean to be closed. Cancun Adventures did not cancel or offer a refund for the excursion, instead they offered an alternative excursion when we had already gotten up early, picked up all guests and we at their office. We feel that they were well aware that the ocean access was going to be closed and were not transparent with the group. We felt like we did not have a true option, but to accept the alternative excursion. The alternative excursion was also affected by the high winds causing the water in the lagoon to be murky with poor visibility and way too many quests. The lagoon was over crowded making it even more difficult to see and navigate. We ended up seeing very little. I feel like our money for the excursion should be at least partly refunded. I will complement our guide. Our guide was great and attempted to please the group.
Great purchase. Would buy again

Sea turtles were 10/10. Only thing I would change is to have a little time at the souvenir shop at the ocean. Had lots of time
Horrible Booking Website

I was unable to participate in all activities because the website did not mention that you must be an experienced swimmer. I was left behind by the guide because she could not guarantee the safety of the group with inexperienced swimmers. And this booking website has refused refunds because they don’t feel responsible even though the excursion company gave us an incident report explaining we should’ve been told.

Seeing the cenote was cool! Didn’t like that you can’t take a go pro and they charge $80 for a picture. Swimming with turtles was a tourist trap unless you want to swim next to 50 other people and see a turtle in mucky water. Lunch was at a beautiful beach and very relaxing! Driver and tour guide were great!
Things I Wish I Knew

1. You can’t wear sunscreen the whole trip pretty much. If you have super sensitive skin, I’d think about that. 2. BRING YOUR OWN TOWEL. Guide was rude because we didn’t bring one. We didn’t get a message regarding this, and it’s not mentioned in the listing. Someone on our trip said they weren’t notified and someone else said they were. I went back in my email and didn’t see anything. 3. BRING A NECK PILLOW. The van is air conditioned, but it is very cramped. 4. Bring a change of clothes for the way back. You’ll get a chance to change after activities are done. You’ll be more comfortable this way.
AWESOME

My favorite part was swimming in the cenote! My daughter’s favorite was snorkeling with the sea turtles. Our guides were amazing and helped us spot not only turtles but stingrays and dolphin rays!!!
Snorkeling with the turtles

The cenote was beautiful! Guides were very nice. We were disappointed that we couldn’t take cameras into the cenote, instead had to pay $80 for photos taken by local photographer.

Had an amazing time. Our guide Mar and driver Victor made the day wonderful. Learned a lot at the cenote, saw a few turtles, angel ray and barracuda snorkeling. It was a GREAT day. Thank you
Very fun day

We loved the cenote and Lucas was an excellent guide. We saw a few turtles and that was enjoyable but the cenote was the highlight for us. The lunch location was fantastic (full view of the ocean) and the food was very good. We would highly recommend this perfect half-day outing.
Had fun, loved the cenote!
Reed_H, Mar 2024
The cenote was beautiful but frustrating that they told us not to bring a camera only so they could take pictures and then try to sell them to us at crazy expensive rate. At a lower cost we would have been interested or just taken our own had they insisted we not take our own camera. Rough water made the water to cloudy to see the turtles but still a good day.
Family Fun!

Great adventure for Cancún and family! Lunch included and hour to relax at private beach after water cave and snorkeling which was nice. Wish you were allowed to take your own pictures at water cave and coat wasn’t so expensive. Nice there was resort pick up and drop off too!
It was great

This was a great tour. Axl was very informative and knowledgeable. The tour was fun and we saw a lot of turtles when snorkeling.
9/10, I recommend
Marissa_M, Mar 2024
Absolutely loved the cenote tour, angel was very informative and funny! I wish the sea turtle part was less crowded, but we did see two sea turtles and a squid
Nice time

The hidden cenote was a dream! It was very nice and the instructor was knowledgeable. We had a nice sized group as well!
Good excursion but could use improvement

Manuel Corona was a fantastic guide. The cenotes were definitely the best part! Be prepared for cold water (you get used to it) and confined spaces in the caves, but overall was a beautiful & unique experience. The snorkeling part was not great. We drove to Akumal Bay and were taken on a very short boat ride onto a roped off area with lots of other snorkeling tours. They don't give you fins since there are so many snorkelers and you'd definitely get kicked! We saw a few turtles with so-so visibility and quickly guided back to shore. Then we took another 20 minute drive to a beach club where we had lunch but didn't have enough time to enjoy the beach. We drove quite a bit from place to place, and certain off-beaten paths were VERY bumpy in the van, so if you easily get car sick, this may not be for you.
Two amazing experiences...

Two amazing experiences in one trip! Swimming through cenote caves was awesome and saw sea turtles up close and personal. Will never forget!
Thankful

Our guide, Judith, we awesome! One member in our group had a personal need and she and our driver, Armando, went out of their way to make sure she was taken care of. We all loved swimming in the cenote. Snorkeling in the ocean was a little challenging but we did see a couple of turtles and that made it worth it!
Amazing!
Christine_R, Mar 2024
Each part of this trip was amazing! The snorkeling was awesome. We saw sea turtles, start fish and stingray. The cenote was just magnificent and the lunch was the best meal we have had on our whole trip so far. The best part of it all was our guide, Paola!! She was such a pleasure and so helpful to those in our group who had some issues keeping up!
Definitely recommend!

This experience was absolutely amazing! The cenote was very beautiful, even though the water was a little cold. It was soooo cool seeing the reefs, sea turtles and other sea life. The food was good and the beach was very nice. Bryan and Armando were a great guide/driver!
