A spectacular historical visit

Our visit to the pyramids and the Cenote was spectacular. Our Tour Guide Frank was friendly and knowledgeable. He and our tour driver made this a relaxing but yet a very informative tour. The free lunch was great as well.

We loved the trip to Chichen Itza! Our tour guide Isaac was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and friendly during the trip. He had great suggestions and was very passionate about the trip and culture. The bus was comfortable, and we felt safe the entire trip. The Cenote swimming was a memorable experience. We enjoyed the lunch, tequila tasting, and learning about the Mayan culture. Chichen Itza was a bucket list place and it did not disappoint! We loved learning about the history and seeing this remarkable site. I would highly recommend this trip.

Really fun day. Our bilingual tour guide Martin was wonderful and shared lots of information about the locations on the tour. Hotel pick-up was on time. The cenote experience was amazing: The swimming area was beautiful and the buffet lunch was great, with lots of vegetarian options. The tacos were our favorite. We did feel rushed at the cenote though, and would have appreciated another 20-30 minutes there to swim and enjoy lunch. A 15 minute stop at the gift shop at the cenote was unnecessary in my opinion. Chichen Itza was beautiful as well and lived up online photos. It's a long day but the bus was very very comfortable so it was easy to sleep on the drive to/from our hotel. Highly recommend this tour

Terrible experience
Jianying_W, Feb 2024
I paid for the VIP package that includes pick up from my hotel. The day of the trip my family waited outside the lobby for half an hour but the bus didn’t arrive. After texting them I was told there was an error in their system (even though I received a confirmation with specific pickup time the day before) and we need to go to another pick up point by ourselves. I paid $300 Uber to get there. When we got on I found because the only seats available were in the last row next to toilet. I saw some seats in the front were blocked and asked if they were available. I was told No because of some insurance issue. However later I found out the seats were made available to another family getting on after us. I also noticed while the booking says up to 45 people in each group, in our group there were 53 people. Our trip was kind of ruined for the beginning (the smell was particularly bad on the way back)! I requested refund for the missed pickup and no response received!

Tour guides were excellent, funny and professional. They ensured the trip went well and we were taken care of. Beto and Marcella were the best. Made such a difference in our experience. Everything went ontime and according to schedule.
Chitchen Itza adventure
Azuree_W, Feb 2024
Alberto and Marcela, our tour guides were outstanding with their wealth of knowledge and humor! Augustine, our driver got us to and from with care and caution! A great team! The ruins and the atmosphere and the stories behind the architecture and history were beyond amazing! The Chaman experience with the buffet and cenote were incredibly beautiful experiences all in one. Needed a tad bit more time in the town of Valladolid but the Chocolate Factory is a must see for extremely Devine chocolate delicacies for purchase! Will be back with more family and friends! The long drive/day is a lot but so worth the experience!
Wonderful tour, but not without issues...
Heidi_L, Feb 2024
We really enjoyed our tour! We loved our guide "Little Juan" he was hilarious and kept us engaged while sharing a wealth of information. Swimming in the cenote was a fun and unique experience, and the buffet lunch that was provided was actually really good food - lots to eat! We could have used an extra 30 minutes for the whole cenote experience as we felt a little bit rushed to change in and out of swimsuits, swim, eat, and do the tequilla tasting, however overall still a good experience and a great tour of Chichen Itza. We did have a slight problem at the beginning of our tour however... we paid for the "VIP Tour with hotel pick up and drop off." I got a text two days before the tour confirming my hotel name and address, as well as pick up time of 7:50am. I also got a text the morning of the tour confirming that I would be picked up outside of my hotel lobby at 7:50am. We were outside and waiting at 7:45am. At 8:10am I got a text that said my pick up had been deleted, and I could either find my own transportation to a different pick up location or re-schedule my tour for another day. We already had prior commitments for the other days of our vacation, so re-scheduling was not an option. I had to pay for an uber to another hotel in order to make it to the tour on time. I have reached out for a refund for transportation costs and have not gotten a response yet at the time of this review. Again, overall we still really enjoyed the day and having an amazing tour guide was a huge part of that! We would do it again, however maybe just don't pay extra for the "VIP hotel pickup" that might actually get canceled....
Day Trip

Entire day trip was an amazing experience, definitely worth it! My husband and I would recommend it.
Full-Day Fun Day!
Katie_R, Feb 2024
We had a great experience! Juam the Tour Director and Manuel the Bus Driver were our crew for the day. Juam was hilarious and knowledgable! Manuel was a safe bus driver and got us to and from multiple locations. My husband and I had a great experience. We wished there was a bit more time at Chichen Itza. We didn't jump in the cenote, but enjoyed the great buffet lunch. All in all, it was a great, full day experience. Bring a book or two for the bus ride!
Amazing Experience!!
Antoinette_R, Feb 2024
Our tour guides Marco and Danny were amazing!! They were very knowledgeable and kind. Marco is so funny and is great at keeping people engaged with his enthusiasm and ability to take great pictures!! The cenote was beautiful and the food was amazing! We didn’t spend much time in Valladoid but it was still a cool stop along the way. Chichen Itza was a great knowledgeable experience as well. The bus ride was long and very tight so bring a neck pillow to sleep and prepare your self mentally for this part of the trip. There is a bathroom on the bus so that is helpful.
Amanda_C, Feb 2024
👍 tour guide....Frank. Awesome cenote time. Interesting ruins. No Valladolid 💩 even though was in the tour. Tequila testing??? They gave 2 flavor a tiny bit even a full shot. The guy that was serving it had a bad attitude. So please be honest on ur description.
Fun tour and activites, bad AC on bus
NeedABreak_T, Feb 2024
Loved Marsela and Beto as well as all the activities, but had issues with the bus’ AC, towards the back it was super hot and made us pass out during the ride. We would walk towards the front and it was cooler.
Great time! Went exactly as planned.
Sandeep_G, Feb 2024
We had a great time! Frank (Francisco) was a great guide and took very good care of us. The bus was extremely comfortable and we did were able to rest up between stops - it's a full day trip. Our driver Luna kept the A/C running during stops so we got back into a very comfortable bus after being out in the sun. The lunch was pretty good as well. All in all, a great value for money!
Martin is the best guide
James_R, Feb 2024
Martin was the man! Full of knowledge and made the trip way more enjoyable. 100% must do if you’re in the area for a few days.
