The whole process was very streamlined which was helpful since I was coming from Holbox. It was one of the few tours that let one person book and it was worth every penny! My tour guide at Chichen Itza, Francesco, was fantastic and so so knowledgeable. It felt like a genuinely special experience. My driver was lovely and very patient. Swimming at Cenote is something I will never forget. This tour gave me probably my most memorable day in Mexico. Highly recommend.

Private tour

The positives. My driver picked me up from the pick up spot on time. He was nice. The minivan taxi was comfortable. It didn’t take long getting into either of the landmarks. The guide for chichen itza was knowledgeable and helpful and the sites were all nice and clean. The negatives. The driver picked his, I guess, girlfriend up as well so it was less of a private tour. Not a huge problem for me but there was no less than 5 stops that were for their benefit including it seemed at both of their houses and for them to shop. I also had to wait for them to get back to the car several times with no way to contact them. So that caused the trip to take longer than it would have. And when we got to Vallodolid it started to rain and caused that part to be abbreviated. I can’t help but think without these stops I would have had more time there. And while my chichen itza guide did speak English, my driver, who i spent far more time with didn’t seem to. So made for some long hours on the road.
