Our guide, Luis, was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and the Yucatan peninsula. The tour even included tricycles driven by a local operator at the ruins, which was great as I injured my knee before our trip. They provided us with water and snacks during the day, and our lunch in the afternoon was delicious. I will do this again if I bring other friends here to visit!

Our guide, Luis, was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and the Yucatan peninsula. The tour even included tricycles driven by a local operator at the ruins, which was great as I injured my knee before our trip. They provided us with water and snacks during the day, and our lunch in the afternoon was delicious. I will do this again if I bring other friends here to visit!

Snorkeling adventure with the Sea Turtles was a highlight of this trip. I wish there was more time to explore Coba a bit deeper, although it is significantly smaller than many other Mayan sites.

The day before this trip we got a confusing, upsetting text in conflict with the schedule we had earlier from you which was to meet at 7:45 AM at the pickup place. Not only did the text give the incorrect time of 9:00, it said we were REQUIRED to confirm this AND it gave us phone numbers l which did not work & no response by email to make this confirmation the night before. So we were scrambling to contact the Viator at 7:20-30 AM on Nov 14 & you were also confused about the time. So we ran to the bus for the 7:45 AM P/U at the CoCo Bango hotel deciding to show up at 7:45 and hope for the best. I was given 7:45 in September after contacting your co. This was very stressful ! Then thankfully we met up with the tour at the original time and place. There was an issue during the tour on the sea turtle part. The leader did not say or make it clear we were to end up on the beach after exiting the boat which WOULD HAVE MADE THE DIFFERENCE IN AVOIDING THE PROBLEM WE HAD. As it turned out, we lost track of the tour leader's snorkel among the countless other identical snorkels. Since we could not distinguish the leader's snorkel among all the others, we started to head back to the BOAT which we expected to do and was the same protocol for all of the other many dives I experienced. The second failure of the tour leader was that when they arrived at the beach with all others on the tour, they did not notice that we were missing ! By not looking for us right away, who knows what severe problems could have been occurring or developing !? So the rest of the group calmly went about showering, drying off, changing clothes, etc. Then when everyone else got to the bus they finally noticed we were missing. It was a long way to return equipment & to the bus, we almost ran ! So everyone had to wait while we came ashore, showered off our swimsuits, etc. I got my dry clothes & went to change but Peter did not & he sat in his wetsuit & top in the van until we reached the restaurant 30" later ! As a result, we needed to rush and we delayed the tour which made us feel very physically & emotionally stressed & uncomfortable! Highly recommend! The Coba ruins are very good, located in the jungle, very pleasant to visit. It hasn’t been restored much, but feels what a ruin should look like. Snorkeling was fun, we saw 5-6 turtles in total. The guide was very responsible, my wife was not a confident swimmer in the sea. The guide helped she a lot, really appreciated!

Great tour. Coba was beautiful and informative. The snorkeling was great and saw three sea turtles, 1 was an albino sea turtle. Finished with a lunch at a private beach restaurant.

Omar was a great tour guide and he was very knowledgeable. The first phase of the tour was very interesting and our family enjoyed learning about the rich Mayan history, and as an added touch, we also enjoyed the “Mayan Ubers” 😂 The sea turtle swimming tour was also led by a great tour guide (her name escapes me) and Omar also provided support for my family especially my youngest daughter (8). When she got tired from swimming, he instructed her to hold on the small bouy he had attached to him and she held on while he swam. The lunch was also excellent and the accompanying beach was beautiful. Omar took great care of us and I believe this tour was well worth what I spent. Also, our driver, Johnathan, was excellent as well and got us to each destination safely. The duo also had snacks and cold water for us. I highly recommend this tour to anyone traveling to the Cancun area. It was beautiful to learn about the local culture and not something you come across often. I’m glad my girls were able to experience it with their parents. We enjoyed such a wonderful family day together.
