What To Expect

Get an early start on the day with 7am pickup at your hotel in Cancun, then travel to the Tulum Archeological Site to see the fascinating ruins of an ancient Maya city. Learn about Maya culture as you explore with a guide, and take some time on your own to soak up the historic atmosphere, and photograph the dramatic setting.

After your time at Tulum, head into the jungle on a Can-am ATV, steering through thick foliage on a rugged trail. Following the ATV ride, head to an underground river that’s accessed through a cenote, slipping into the water with snorkel gear to see the limestone formations that have built up over thousands of years.

The final adventure of the morning is a snorkel stop on the Caribbean coast, where you’ll have the chance to spot marine wildlife in this natural, unique environment. Refuel from your adventures with a buffet lunch of grilled chicken, rice, beans, salads, chips, and salsa, with non-alcoholic drinks included. This 7-hour tour concludes with return transfer to your hotel in Cancun.

Good job by all. Our Tulum guide was very good, he enjoyed his job and was very well equipped for the job. Driver was on time and seemed to enjoy the job. ATV’s we’re good and tour guide was great. Good ride, unfortunately not enough mud, for me, but a good ride, surprisingly bug free. Cenote swim was very refreshing and was better than I expected. Once again guide was very knowledgeable and just a good individual, dealing with the people. Food was actually another plus. Best meal, since we got here.

Vey rushed
Jacob_B, Mar 2023
I liked my driver. There were six men in the group that were extremely intoxicated, They yelled and made rude comments the entire ride to Tulum. I was hoping the driver would have told them to be polite or get out. He did not. Tulum was a great place to explore, but we only had 30 minutes, after a quick history lesson. I would have much rather removed the ATV session and spent more time in Tulum. The cave swim was even better that I had hoped it would be.
Great educational experience

Great guide at Tulum Ruins. Explained Mayan history and purpose of ruins. Early start was good due to crowds
Cenotes are great

Good times. Tulum ruins, atv bikes were all good. Under ground water caves /cenotes were the best.........!!!!!!!!!
Severe disappointment

The transportation never showed up so we didn’t get to go. If you want to book something, do it through your concierge. Viator sucks!
Good day but felt rushed

The day was well worth it in the end. I felt kind of rushed throughout the day I guess I would say was my negative.

The driver never arrived for pickup at my hotel.. Several phone calls were placed, but no response. Seeking a refund.
Fantastic Tour!

Excellent tour. Very well organized. Our guide, Jean, was very knowledgeable about Mayan history. The cenote snorkeling experience was amazing and our guide, Moses, was great! The ATV ride through the jungle was great and so was the food.
Fun time with friends

Enjoyed seeing the ruins. Amazing tour guide Mario. Amazing photo opportunities. Loved the atv extreme and the cave experience.
The guide at Tulum talked way too...
Cathy_K, Oct 2017
The guide at Tulum talked way too much the ended up giving us less than 45 mins to explore, then we were very disappointed by the Cenotes because it was NOTHING like the pictures that are shown, we went into a very small Cenotes and it wasn't worth even seeing : That was the main thing I was excited to see. The ATV was lots of fun, my husband and I really enjoyed it. The driver and other guide Memo were really good
This trip was ok. They still took us...
Adam Z, Aug 2017
This trip was ok. They still took us when there was a tropical storm/hurricane. Because of the weather the Tulum ruins weren't much fun since we were getting blown around, rained on, and a bit cold. Plus most of the shops around the entrance was closed, and the actually tried to charge us to use their bathroom. No joke, 5 Pecos a person to use them. The cenote was fun, the first time I experienced 40ft of depth within it. Unfortunately it seemed that they rushed us through it so I would have liked to stay longer. The ATV's however were fantastic! It was over 40 minutes long and since it was storming out there were a ton of mud puddles to splash around it. This part was probably the best part of my vacation.
