We saw many types of birds and our guide, Bob, was very knowledgeable about them. He was very accommodating. I was there with my 3 mid 20's age family and they had a great time too.

A beautiful ride through the canal and hatbors to see so many different types of birds. We saw marshes and nesting areas, learned about wildlife and the history of the Cape May area! Our tour guides were passionate and fun!

The captain knows a lot about birds and found a lot of migratory birds for us to see. We also saw a bald eagle & several Rails.

I went on the Sunset Safari with my partner and we both really enjoyed it. The sunset was beautiful on the water and the overall experience was relaxing and enjoyable. We learned a lot and the Captain even added some humor which made it more enjoyable. I would highly recommend.

I love exploring nature preserves but I was disappointed with this cruise because all we encountered were birds on this “safari cruise”. They were very knowledgeable about the birds but I feel like the description of this trip should’ve specifically stated that you’ll only encounter birds.

I'm sorry that you were not aware that many of the residents of the salt marsh are birds. We often see dolphins, crabs and salt marsh turtles and occasionally visitors like seals, otters, or coyotes so I'm not sure that I would want to state that we would only encounter birds. This is what we currently say in the ad.
Observe a variety of bird species and marine life.
And of course we do spend a great deal of time in the salt marsh which is certainly one of the less explored nature preserves by most people. I'm glad that you were able to get out and see this much less accessible area even though it's wasn't what you were expecting.
