Fun ride

The activity was great. We enjoyed it. But my partner and I were a bit disappointed, the activity included a bumper ball but because of the heat, it was replaced with sand boarding. However, the tour guide did not take us for the sand boarding. When we asked him, he informed us he was not aware of the sand boarding, it seemed like we are demanding the impossible and referred us to one of the operators. Fortunately, the operator bought us sand boarding permits. However, we were given the permits and we had to walk to the sand boarding. It was very hot and the sand was very heavy on the legs, and we had to walk, to and from the sand boarding set up. We were very disappointed as we were not even offered a ride to the sand boarding, we were now on our own whereas this was part of the package we paid for. The operators must inform their tour guides what activities are included in a package to avoid such issues in future.

However, we concede you should have been accompanied by a tour guide and we will investigate why this was not the case. The bumper balls were suspended for your own safety: The use of this equipment is not recommended when temperatures are excessively high as the plastic gets extremely hot and could cause burns. As a tour operator it is our duty to protect you from potential injury and unfortunately, on your day, this decision was taken. As a compromise, we offered a Sandboarding activity. Fantastic family adventure. Nigel was patient and ensured that everyone in the group remained together. A bit disappointed that we couldn't do the bubble ball, but they made up for it with the sandboarding which was amazing. Teens loved every minute.
