      No reason to use this service. Just buy from the museum directly online or in person for 1/3 of the price. Only difference is a bottle of water. Also, Evelyn from the tour company sent me a WhatsApp with my ticket and when I wrote back with a few questions she refused to ever answer me. Seriously, just use the museum directly.

      Viator needs to be clearer in the description; there was a long line to board ferry which we could not "skip". Then everyone is just randomly placed on buses once on Robben Island. After receiving many confirmations, we could not access our actual tickets. Hotel concierge had to telephone the actual third party tour company

      Unfortunately VIATOR failed to send our electronic tickets , when enquiring for help they ignored all messages . luckily the robben island staff were very helpful after this causing a lot of stress thinking we would not be allowed on the trip and lost our money.

      Crying at departure because I never received my tickets after repeated requests to to tour operator. Then I found out that I was charged foreigner rates when I am South African. My daughter and I could not get on the boat. I do not recommend this operator at all. I have asked for a refund and have not heard back

      The price is double from direct buy at official site. Unfortunately the official site doesn’t work for foreigner payment. Only after requesting twice I got a photo of my ticket, not professional

      I m so upset your service charge $67. The office website only $33. You didn’t have any extra service. The price is double. I would not be buying any tickets in vaitor. Your service is just for money.

      It's better to get your tickets straight from the Nelson Mandela website. This is a rip off......tickets at the box office are $29.... Wasted money for nothing

      Viator charges $68 US for a tour that costs $32 US on the Robben Island website. Skip Viator and go straight to the website for the island.

      Only seeing Mandela cell. Rest of the trip was rushed didn't get off the bus until the prison walk and once there we had to skip walking around the court yard which was an important part of the prison which included the glower garden

      We had an absolutely amazing guide on our bus who gave us a very well informed narrative on how all different countries helped support the change against apartheid in South Africa. Unfortunately I cannot remember the guides name. His English was very clear and his stories great.

      Without any prior warning, when we arrived at the venue we were told " All tours are cancelled for today. The ship has problems". We were then offered a Refund of LESS THAN HALF the amount Paid for this event. I intend to report this totally fraudulent operation to the local police.

      Extremely knowledgeable and whitty guides who could answer any questions put to them. Saw some dolphins on the way over to the Island; an added bonus. Only regret was not having a chance to see the penguins.

      I was panicked because I was looking for my QR codes for the tickets in my email. When I called your office the supervisor immediately made sure that the code was sent via Wharsapp. Once I received it, I realized I’d gotten the actual QR code the day before. Thank you for reacting quickly. The Tour of Robben Island was both emotional, painful and beautiful. I won’t ever forget it. Thank you for a life changing experience.

      The tour of the prison. The tour guides were excellent for both the bus tour and the prison. Problem. We paid R1500 per person for 5 people. I now believe this was the international price. However we were 4 South Africans and only one international.
