Overview

Sail along the west coast of St. Lucia aboard a catamaran on this full-day excursion. Visit some of the island's highlights, like Sulphur Springs, the region's only drive-in volcano. See the marvelous Pitons, looming 2,000 feet (600 meters) over the coast and stop at the Diamond Botanical Gardens to view the waterfalls. What To Expect

Following pickup from your North Island hotel, transfer to the harbor to board the comfortable catamaran. Find a spot on deck in the sun or shade and watch the scenery of the St Lucia's west coast pass by.

At Soufriere, disembark to explore some of the island's top attractions. Pause for photos of the Pitons, the St Lucia's iconic mountains that tower 2,000 feet (600 meters) over this part of the island.

With your guide, make your way to Diamond Botanical Gardens, located on a verdant plantation estate. Follow your guide down easy walking trails featuring beautiful examples of local flora and fauna

Continue to the Sulphur Springs, the world's only drive-in volcano. The sulphuric thermal pools here were created thousands of years ago by a collapsed volcanic crater.

Make your way to a local restaurant for a traditional Creole-style buffet lunch. Then return to the boat for a sail up the coast and into Marigot Bay. Make a stop for swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing before returning to shore for the ride back to your North Island hotel.

The guides we had were great and did an amazing job of entertaining and keeping up with our group. The boat cruise was relaxing snorkeling was nice as well. Waterfall was nice but not really worth getting wet again.

Fun day with lots of information on the sights

Fun day. The team work really hard. It would be great to have an idea of how long we would have at the waterfalls and mud bath as we did with snorkelling.

An experience unlike any other!

The excursion, locations visited, and the boat ride was very fun. The crew was fun and engaging. The DJ Mahlan was amazing and kept the party going the entire day. We got to experience all the things listed in the itinerary. The only thing that didn’t go well was our driver on the way back to our hotels. He seemed to be under the influence. During our ride back, we stopped in traffic and he fell asleep behind the wheel. I was sitting directly behind him and noticed he wasn’t moving once the traffic began to move again. I looked around his seat and saw he was asleep or something. His eyes was closed and his head was down. I tried to alert him three times. After the third time, he woke up and began driving again. But when he did, he was swerving in and out of on coming traffic and closer to the curb. Eventually, he pulled over by the parking lot of a Glace supermarket. He cracked his door open. I assumed he was preparing to get out. But he made no additional moves to exit the bus. I leaned over again to see if he was ok. That’s when I saw he was throwing up. It was clear to me he should not be driving and turned around and told some of the guests on the bus, maybe we should find another way back to our hotels. In the meantime, I kept checking to see if he was ok to drive. The rest of the passengers, along with my friends and I decided to get off the bus. I suggested he not drive and find someone to pick him and the bus up. Passengers began coordinating taxi transport to their destinations. Eventually the driver took off. There may have been one or two people that decided to go with him. But that wasn’t a wise decision. All in all, the excursion was amazingly fun. I don’t want the drivers behavior to discourage others from booking with this vendor. They are amazing. Those responsible for the transport of guests should not be drinking and partaking in alcohol along with the guests. Not only is it unsafe, it can hurt the company’s business. .

The staff was great & did an amazing job keeping our large group all entertained! The stops were very busy, but that’s how it is with large tour groups! Brilliant day out. Saw some fantastic scenery. Really enjoyed mud bath, water fall and the snorkelling was amazing. Meal on boat was excellent . But best of all was all the crew on the boat who were very friendly, polite and full of energy and fun. Yeah Man.

My Experience

On January 9, our pick up taxi driver told us our names and room # were not on his list so we figured he wasn’t for our excursion. Come to find out 15 minutes later at our 9am pick up time that it was supposed to be him. He came back storming out the taxi, screaming at us that we lied telling the app we didn’t get picked up at all and that he told us to show us our tickets. If he is confirming to us at 845am that our names nor room number are on the list, how is that our fault the list wasn’t properly updated for the taxi driver. Hotel security got in and started speaking to him as well when he saw him screaming at us like that. It was just my birthday so we had no choice but to ride with someone who was storming speeding through every bump and street to make sure we felt his aggravation with us. Walking out of the taxi i asked for his name, he refused to give it to me and started yelling again to other who workers there and they a few laughed at us walking to the boat. Overall every worker on the boat was very kind to us and for that we tipped them every drink, food and walking off the boat as well!!

Seamless transfer included from hotel (Harbor Club) to dock and back afterwards as well as around soufrière in comfortable, air conditioned vehicles. Catamaran captain and crew have excellent customer service throughout including pointing out local sites and spots during sail. Trip around soufrière was great, again amazing tour guidance and driver. We all opted to go to the mud bath (but there was also an option of a guided tour around the volcano site), team offered to take everyone’s photos and we’re all engaging. Similarly st waterfall. Guided and monitored swim and snorkel in the beautiful Caribbean sea with life jackets and snorkel gear provided. Food was great, including snacks and breakfast at the beginning. Drinks flowing all day long. Excited to do this again next time I visit.

A really nice and long tour. It is obvious that a large amount of tourists causes waiting time in between activities but not much indeed. The tour guide was gorgeous and told us about landmarks and sights we passed by. Alltogether you spend more time on sea than on land but the nice music and unlimited drinks along with the perfect weather make you want to stay and enjoy.

This was an unforgettable experience! Everyone who comes to visit St. Lucia should do this. The staff was friendly, with a great sense of humor, courteous and kept everyone aboard engaged. The music, dancing, food and drinks definitely enhanced the experience. We met travelers from the US, UK and Canada. We’re definitely coming back with more friends. We love St. Lucia!

I would definitely recommend. It was a great trip. Staff were friendly and very knowledgeable and went over and beyond to ensure everyone was okay. They even got everyone up dancing on the way back! Only downside is the boat doesn’t have lots of shelter from the sun if you’re planning on bringing little ones.
