Absolutely fantastic experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Charleston. It was a good mix of paddling, enjoying the sights, and seeing beautiful wildlife. Because our group was small and had kayaking experience, we were able to cover a lot of distance and see multiple areas within the estuary. We saw several types of birds (including a nesting osprey), stingrays, fish, and at the end of the tour, a group of dolphins. We got to witness the dolphins feeding and playing with one of their babies, and at times they were within just a few feet of our kayaks. It was a truly once in a lifetime experience. Our guide Maddie was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and made the whole experience even better. The whole company was very communicative and professional, and made the booking experience easy. The location is a quick 15-20 minute drive (we took an Uber) from downtown and very convenient if you are also visiting Folly Beach or Morris Island. Would return and do it again in heartbeat!

Tour guide Will was outstanding. We were sad not to see fish, turtles or dolphins. Kayaks were comfortable and the scenery was awesome.
    Amazing experience!

Amazing trip! Super windy, almost canceled but glad we didn’t. Our guide recommended to do a tandom kayak. She kept us out of the wind as much as she could. Super knowledgeable and passionate about her job. If you are thinking about kayaking in Charleston book this outfit, you won’t regret it

This was amazing time—we took my kiddos 7 and 9 (neither have kayaked before) and my 9 year old got nervous ahead of time. The group was calming. Our guide, will, was remarkable—ask for him! You could tell he really loves the marsh and was very educational on the trip (knowledgeable about the area/ecosystem and the kayaks). We would definitely recommend!!
    Definitely recommend

Was a perfect leisurely trip length and difficulty level. Kat was friendly and helpful. We saw a few dolphins and birds. Pro tip: it is rough getting back to downtown from here via Uber. It gets caught with beach traffic. I ended up having to get a regular cab back for probably double the price.
    Great tour

Sarah was a great tour guide. She helped our less experienced kayaking folks out and taught us a lot during the tour about the plants and animals we were seeing.
    Informative Kayak Tour/Very Nice
    Stacey_G, Mar 2024
This tour was awesome for those interested in the ecosystem. The guide was an encyclopedia of information regarding the birds, dolphins, grasses, sea life. It was start to finish run well. We had an easy paddle as the tide was with us. Great for first timers. Note the location. If you are staying in town, it is a 30 Uber back and forth. (That said, so is the one near Mt. Pleasant/Shem Creek). This has a cute local restaurant right there so you can grab something g to eat or drink before or after. I DID indeed see my first dolphin.
    Informative!

Our guide Sara was very informative! She made the trip great. All of the staff did! Time on the water was 2 hours.
    Awesome tour

We saw many animals and the guide Kristi was very informative, and also sweet. We got to see pelicans, dolphins (which was wicked cool) oyster beds, and fishermen.

Wonderful experience from the beginning to the end. Very knowledgeable and caring tour guides. And of course, the experience of kayaking next to dolphins is unforgettable!

This is a great experience, even though we didn’t get to see dolphins. It’s a beautiful area in our guide Alyssa was extremely knowledgeable, sharing all of her insights about the local ecosystem. Great exercise as well!

    Rebecca_L, Mar 2024
Best birthday gift ever! My daughter and I came down for my birthday and we enjoyed this kayak trip so much and everything we learned. Our guide will was so passionate and did a great job at connecting with us, and keeping us engaged throughout the tour. we will definitely come back again for another one! We were concerned it was going to rain and be a little too cold, but just at the right time the sun came out there was not any rain or clouds. It was beautiful!
