      Tall Ship Windy's dock is located about 400 meters/yards from the front gate, on the South Dock. We are located between the East and West parking garages on the south dock. If taking Uber/cab, go to the Riva Restaurant, it will be about 100 feet from our dock.

    • Wed Fireworks Tour Departs at 8:45pm. Saturday departs at 9:15pm.

    You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

    • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
    • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
    • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
    • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
    • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

    Never got to see it , It was my fiancés birthday dinner We were late , The guy at boat said he couldn’t do anything In general they are pretty particular about taking the money but NOT ACCOMODATING TRY some other reasonable vendor There’s a bunch of vendors that go around Lake Michigan There’s nothing special here LOOK ELSEWHERE

    While it is unfortunate that you did not make your sail, we did have an obligation to the other 140 people who boarded the ship to leave on time. We do state at the time of purchase that we leave on time and we send a reminder email saying so as well.

    Well managed and entertaining event. The ship is very clean and there is plenty of casual seating. For those concerned about motion sickness, there is very little movement of the boat. The fireworks were great and beautiful.

    I'd like to preface this point, this rating is based on the experience prior to the sail. I've never dealt with a company that was so clueless about how to confirm a reservation. I booked my reservation the Monday prior to the event. It said that it could take up to 48 hours to confirm the reservation. I called on Thursday and the reservation was still pending. They said they were calling the company but didn't hear anything. If they did a simple search on the company site, then they would've realized that they weren't open during the time they called. I called the WIndy City Sails myself and was able to confirm what should've been confirmed days before. Viator was very defensive about their policies. When I read what their confirmation policy was, they were dumbfounded. My recommendation is to go directly through the company that Viator works with since it'll be cheaper, their customer service is better, and it's less of a hassle going through a third party that seems to new to this business.
