Make sure people can take escalators as it is very difficult to find elevators. Guide did a good job.

This was a very dull tour. We left the group In the middle. The guide was enthusiastic but the topic here is just not worth the effort IMHO. Take another walking tour with this company—avoid this one!!

TripAdvisor specifically requested that I respond to this review, so I called and chatted with this customer about why she disliked the experience so much. Unfortunately, she indicated that her first issue was with another guest, saying this other woman made her feel awkward and uncomfortable, and there was unfortunately not much the guide could do about that. He did try to handle the awkwardness the best he could, and it's a rare occurrence that we have to manage guests like that. When I asked this customer how this experience hadn't lived up to her expectations based on its description, she also indicated that she "maybe read the description too fast," which is also out of our control. What we provided this customer was exactly what's in the tour description: "Explore the hidden side of Chicago on a 2-hour walking tour of The Loop, a bustling neighborhood that’s full of wild history, architectural landmarks and some of the city’s most fascinating characters. Follow your local guide along the sidewalk, and stop to notice the overlooked details and untold stories that even life-long locals sometimes miss. Experience the city one small piece at a time on a route that traces a path between Chicago’s littlest treasures, and get an inside look at life in the Second City." But I do regret that she didn't enjoy her experience due to another customer and her own misunderstanding of what the tour was going to be. For future customers, please read the tour description and contact us if you have questions regarding content, and please refer to the hundreds of 5-star reviews for this tour route from locals and out-of-town guests who have enjoyed learning how to use the Pedway and access some surprising interiors from it.

The tour guide, Adam, did a wonderful job. One of the best tour guides we have had. He was funny and very informative. Would highly recommend any tour Adam does.

The underground architecture tour was a great, 2 hour tour that was mostly inside and underground (good for cold days!). Some of the tour was above ground, where we saw an unexpected outdoor Picasso Sculpture, and some great architectural gems only viewable from the outside. I came away more knowledgeable about the city and a list of great spots I want to visit next.

Adam did a great job- we loved this tour! We learned things about Chicago we never knew, learned about the underground path- which we will now use! Adam made this a fun entertaining tour- we would do a tour with this company any time! Don't hesitate- take this tour!
Disappointment

We did not do an underground predway tour. We walked above ground in the rain looking at random buildings and when I asked the tour guide she stated that the door We were supposed to take was locked and she had to improvise. Was terribly disappointed as half of what she showed We had already seen doing the gangster tour. I'd like to be refunded.

Bridgett, you cannot be refunded by leaving a public review asking for a refund: you have to contact the merchant who offers the tours (me) directly in order to request a refund. That said, I have no record of you having taken a tour with my company, and I wonder if you may have accidentally left this review in the wrong listing. The only Bridgette I have registered for a tour within the last month was a no-show for the tour.
