Great tour guide and tour

Great driver, nice stops. Car needs better AC, very hot inside due to air not functioning well. The tour was A+ but the a/c was the only reason that we gave the tour 4 stars. There were :3 of us so we were in the back seat. There were no vents in the back and the front a/c was not working properly. We hit every great stop and were informed of all of the history. The guide as very knowledgeable and a very good driver.

Excellent and Informative Tour

We took this tour from the cruise ship terminal, and it was a very welcome sight to see our name on the guide's sign amid a sea of taxi drivers offering tours. The guide was very well organized, and above all knowledgeable and to happy to talk about the history and culture of the country as well as details of the sights we visited. He knew where to go, how best to get there and where to park so that our time was optimized. But above all, the local insights made this tour extremely informative and overall superb value.

Our driver was punctual and sincere. We are satisfied with it. But actually, there were less sightseeing places in Colombo. Nothing interesting to see and visit in Colombo. I think 3 hours tour is enough for you in Colombo.

Personal attention from our guide, Bandara - very caring and helpful. Good, safe driving in air conditioned comfortable car. Took us to all advertised sites and more. Knew his city and loved to share it with us. Access to all sites visited quick, with easy parking. Took photos for us, happy to wait while we enjoyed experiences. Personal help and attention organised at gem place and tea place. Nothing too much trouble. Very enjoyable experience. A lovely day shared with a real gentleman.

We had a wonderful day with Sameera. He took us everywhere we wanted to go and he also customized tour along the way. He is a wealth of knowledge and also a fantastic driver. He also found us the perfect spot for lunch. We highly recommend Sameera to when you are in Sri Lanka.

Good tour of Colombo at easy pace

Tour company called me the day before to assure me the time of the tour. Tour guide, Bandara, was punctual. He was eager to show me the best places in Colombo. He also took nice photos for me. No rush, easy, relaxed tour at comfortable pace.

Not a great guide. He parked the car and we walked the most of the way. I will not recommend this tour guide. His English is very hard to understand as well. It seemed that he did not have any desire to conduct this tour.

Kamal served as our tour guide in Colombo, and I must say he was excellent. Not only was he knowledgeable about the history of the places we visited, but he also went out of his way to ensure we had the opportunity to capture some great photos. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you have a few hours to spare in Colombo. Kamal's guidance and kindness truly made the experience memorable.

We enjoyed the temples best. Went past many noted sites. Traffic was light due to the holiday. Guide Kamal was not easy to understand, but friendly. Stopped at jewelry store and tea/spice store. His car air conditioning was minimal so very hot inside the car.

A Wonderful Introduction to a Fascinating City

This was a wonderful introduction to Colombo, which is a fascinating city to visit. The tour guide, Mr. Viraj, came prepared with a lengthy list of possible sites to visit. I was able to pick the places that interested me most. My choices included Jami Ul-Alfar Mosque (Red Mosque), Gangaramaya Temple, Seema Malakaya Temple, Independence Memorial Hall, all of which proved to be both interesting and photogenic. I finished the tour with lots of good photographs and lots of good memories! The tour company’s communication was excellent. The company confirmed date, time, and pick-up location shortly after I made the reservation. They contacted me the day before the tour to re-confirm and provided the tour guide’s name, contact number, and license plate number. Highly recommended!

Outstanding tour. Our guide Kamal was friendly, personable and customized the tour to our interests. The tour was excellent, covering the major sites a lot better than the more expensive ship tours. We felt very safe in the hectic environment of Colombo. He made post tour restaurant recommendations which were excellent as well and even offered to wait to take us back. Wonderful tour.
