Marvelous Mesa Verde

Our Mesa Verde tour was so positive with Tosh as our tour guide. We learned the incredible history and customs of these ancient cultures. Tosh was very personable and knowledgeable , making the tour more enjoyable. This experience was one to always remember.

Jerry, our guide was wonderful! Very informative, considerate, funny! He showed us all the top highlights of Mesa Verde and was extremely well informed about the history/ culture of the Pueblos and the area.

Good guide but does not go inside ruins.

Our guide, Jerry was great. He was knowledgeable, funny, and kept things interesting. The tour description didn’t say anything about not being able to go inside the ruins. You have to have a reservation with the Park Rangers for that. I assumed maybe the tour group would have a situation worked out so they could tour them or get the tickets in advance for us. We basically just drove to some of the sites and saw them from a distance. You can do that on your own and spend as much time as you want at each one. We also skipped a lot of sites. Knowledgeable guide, but I would have done it on my own if I would have known it was just the same as driving yourself.

We enjoyed the entire tour. Our favorite parts of the tour were of the 4 corners and the cliff dwellings. Jerry our tour guide has been giving these tours for 8 years he did an outstanding job!
