Please be waiting outside no later than this time to avoid missing your pick up. Guides have multiple pick-ups so can on occasion run up to 10 minutes late. Guides cannot wait for late passengers as it will mean the entire group is at risk of missing out, so please be waiting and ready (5-10 minutes before your listed time is highly recommended). Passengers that miss their pick up will be required to meet the tour at the tour's first stop at their own expense to continue on the tour. No refunds will be given to late or no show passengers.

Beautiful Beaches

Overall great dsy of beaches. Changing Facilities very helpful. Wearing hiking shoes was appropriate as we stopped along the way for a couple short hikes. Breakfast stop in the morning could be improved. Would be good to coordinate kayak option to cathedral cove. Brendan did a nice job overall.

Beautiful sites

I would recommend this tour but specify that it is a very long day. The weather was very bad on the day of our tour and prior weather damage prevented us from fully viewing all the sites. Our guide made the very best of the day and we came away satisfied.

Truly Unbelievable

Michael was extremely professional and safely drove us from locations. We were picked up outside our hotel in a very comfortable tour van and taken out of city to a coffee house to start our tour. This will be a long day so prepare for 2 hours of travel each way but destinations are totally worth it. The Hot water beach is indescribable. There are many people there but Michael guided us to a prime digging location where thermal vents heat water streams up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit and that is no lie. The incoming ocean waves cool you down. A must experience. We stayed here for 2 hours enjoying beach and thermal dug our spa. Next we traveled to lunch spot near Cathedral Cove. Due to mud slides, only access was via motorized raft which was an adventure in itself. Safe for all ages. This was an extra fee however. Being dropped off at beach and experiencing this natural wonder was awesome. The beauty of this beach is amazing. Had a great time.

A great day along the peninsula

We truly enjoyed this tour! We were picked up right on time by our Cheeky Kiwi guide Brendan who was amazing and very knowledgeable about all things Coromandel peninsula. A gorgeous day! Great commentary! Fabulous scenery! Be sure to have good walking shoes with you as the walk to Cathedral cove is quite long and steep at the bottom. The cove itself is absolutely breathtaking. The countryside is beautiful. Brendan stopped a few times for breaks which all passengers appreciated. Be sure to wear your swimsuit under your garments to avoid delays at Hot Water Beach (although change rooms are available). It was a great day!

Cool sites but not well planned

There are some cool sights in the Coromandel Peninsula, so this tour is definitely worth doing but here's a few helpful hints: 1. Bring a swimsuit and towel! Sandals or beach shoes are very helpful too. 2. Bring hiking shoes as part of the trip is up and down a LONG path to the beach and on a hot day, you will be worn out by the end! The guide said it was an easy path...it is NOT. Bring water, bring the right shoes, hiking clothes, and know that you are in for at least an hour hike in and then back out up and downhill both ways. 3. There is alot of driving to the sites so plan to have something to do. 4. BRING SUNSCREEN! And a hat.

One of the most beautiful sightseeing in north island of NZ, one of the unique amazing experience in the world with the one of the nicest tour guide Branden ( sorry if I misspelled it ) U should have this tour,, it is a must. Excelente paseo, muy recomendable , maravilloso llegar a ambas playas, la Hot Water Beach y la Cathedral Cave . Impresionante las vistas escénicas previas a la llegada a a ambos lugares, de una belleza natural dificil de igualar.Lo disfruté mucho, nos tocó un día de sol excepcional y Michael nuestro chofer y guía nos ilustró muy bien acerca de NZ, su historia, su naturaleza a lo largo de todo el viaje. Muy amable.
