Overview

This Denver day trip starts with a city tour that takes you past Denver’s highlights like the Denver Performing Arts Complex, Colorado Convention Center, Civic Center Park, and Denver Art Museum. We’ll drive by Cheesman Park, the historic Five Points neighborhood, and on down Colfax Ave (the longest street in the country), and take our first stop at City Park, with its picturesque city skyline and mountain backdrop. You’ll view funky murals in the thriving River North (RiNo) Art District, pass Coors Field, and grab coffee and empanadas at a local favorite hotspot. Then, it’s time for a 30-minute scenic drive to the iconic Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater. We’ll drive through the park, take in the stunning rock formations, and get out to explore the world-famous amphitheater (if open). The talk of the tour guide. Very personable and informative. Very helpful in what to do in Denver. Great seeing and hearing about the history ov various neighborhoods.

Hi Peter! Thanks for recognizing the hard work I staff put into facilitating rewarding tours. We'd love to have you back, so please don't be a stranger!
Ok but not for the price.
Jamie_B, Dec 2023
Our guide was good but I feel the description of the tour and actual tour did not match the price. Also it says you are able to do a wine tour. Not true. Its definitely a city tour more than a hike. If you bring a bottle of water you are fine. There is no extensive walking. The Red Rocks are gorgeous but the look out mountain is ok for a good pic. They should probably do more of a hike and not focus on the city so much. Thanks!
Amazing tour with Jed!

Knowledgeable driver who loves Colorado - stunning sites! Comfortable vehicle! Driver was very personable and offered help getting in and out of the van to those who had a little difficulty.😊
Well worth your time
Barbara_V, Oct 2023
Our tour guide Christian was very knowledgeable about Denver and the stops we made. He even played John Denver music in the van as we traveled which was a nice touch. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and even saw a herd of buffalo that Christian pulled over for us to get a closer view.
Breathtaking views!
Mycal_S, Oct 2023
Our trip was amazing. Josh was out tour guide and was very knowledgeable. We were lucky enough to see Buffalo on our tour and some other wild life. The tour at Red Rocks was amazing and breathtaking. A little windy, but that's it. Hardly anyone was there which made it more enjoyable. The weather was incredible for this time of year also. 10/10 would highly recommend
Canceled trip
Arla_G, Oct 2023
The trip was canceled. There were not enough participants and we weren’t available for alternative times.
Response from Host, Oct 2023
Hi Arla, we hate it when we don't have enough folks sign up too. I'm sorry we weren't able to get you up Red Rocks that day, but I know your guide had a blast taking you and your husband up to the summit of Pikes Peak with us just a few days later. The Garden of the Gods park happens to be part of the same rock formation as the amphitheater, so hopefully you were able to appreciate that neat red rock!
Wow
Glenn_J, Oct 2023

Everything! Our group guide Josh was so nice. He went beyond to let us see as much as we could in the four hours we had.
We enjoyed all of the...
Nate_M, Oct 2023
We enjoyed all of the tour! The Red Rocks Amphitheater, Lookout Mountain in Golden and Evergreen Lake are gorgeous. The tour had a good pace and we had enough time at all of the stops. We saw bison, wild deer, and hang gliders while traveling between stops. Jay / Jacob was a great tour guide!
Response from Host, Oct 2023
Hey Nate! It sounds like your group really lucked out in the wildlife department! Hopefully you were able to snag a few cool photos to remember us by! We'll see you again soon!
Quick Tour from Denver
James_G, Oct 2023
Overall, the tour was a quick ride out of downtown to see the famous Red Rocks Ampitheatre and an expansive view of the surrounding areas of Denver. If you have the time opt for a longer tour to spend more time either at the stops we took or to make more stops. Would have liked to spend more time at each location to take in the scenery and read all the interesting information that was posted. All in all a good experience.
