What To Expect

Travel independently to the Atlantis The Palm in Jumeirah and show your ticket at the entrance to the Aquaventure Waterpark. Go inside and enjoy the rides of this exciting Dubai waterpark at your own pace, for however long you wish, up until the closing time.

The Dubai Atlantis waterpark is the biggest of its kind in the Middle East and was awarded ‘Best Waterpark in the Middle East 2015’ title on TripAdvisor, so there’s a huge variety of attractions to enjoy.

Love speed? Then, make a beeline for the Tower of Neptune tunnels. Hurtle down the hair-raising, 90-foot (27.5 meter) Leap of Faith into the shark lagoon, and thrill as you conquer the chutes of the Tower of Poseidon. Twist down the serpentine Aquaconda, take the plunge on the Zoomerango and multi-track Slitherine; and waft through the shark-infested Shark Tunnel on a raft.

If you’re still up for thrills, don’t miss the Poseidon’s Revenge, where a trapdoor opens beneath your feet to send you plummeting 75 feet (22.8 meters) downward before rocketing you into a double loop.

Dive into the other included water rides, ride on the lazy rivers, and let the little ones loose on the fun-packed Splasher’s Island with a choice of 7 new waterslides ranging from body slides and tube rides. Also on the Splasher's Island is the new dry play-structure in the shape of a dhow boat.

When you want a breather, refuel at one of the restaurants (own expense) or relax on the sandy beach. If you want a touch of luxury on the sands, perhaps hire a VIP beach cabana (own expense) to kick back in style. Your trip finishes when you exit the park.

  • Aquaventure Waterpark Operation Hours is from 9:30 AM until Sunset - This ticket may be redeemed within the operational hours and without start time of visit.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Excellent family day out. A significant cost but for a full day for three of us I felt it represented good value for money. Things inside the park are expensive, but that’s to be expected. Water bottles (small) €3 each but pro tip there’s a free refilling station in the centre of the park next to the Leap of Faith ride right next to the fish tanks.

Best water park i have been to.Get there early for all the big slides, allow for a 2 hour blast. Or get the expensive aquafastpass Q times quoted very optimistic.

If you need to visit a water park at all costs then its worth seeing, otherwise some of the queues were brutal. The aqua express ticket is probably the way to go at a much higher price, that way you can skip the queues. Waited in line for “The Storm” …waiting time listed as 35mins but was in the line for one and three quarter hrs as aqua express ticket holders kept coming. Then the machine broke. After waiting so long you can’t really turn back. If you want to go probably best to save for an aqua express ticket. You get there and they charge for tickets and lockers extra. A 2scoop ice cream costs about £10. Portion of fries and a can of coke about £16. When you get on the rides they are fun.

There was something for everyone at the Park. The things for little children looked like so much fun that I wish I had a little one. The biggest problem was the length of the lines and the cost to skip the lines was pretty high. But overall it was a great time. It was so much fun we went twice.
Great...with the AquaXpress

We had a great time at Atlantis Aquaventure and were able to go on all the water attractions. If you have the funds, I recommend paying for the AquaXpress. The wait times are unreliable. Some rides would state a time and we would wait three times as long. After doing that twice in a row, I went and added the AquaXpress option and we were able to get to the front of all the rides with the longest wait being about 10 minutes.

Terrible experience - when we got to aquaventure the tickets would not download via the app or even via web browser (we tried many different ways as did the staff that worked there) but it would just not load and it would recirculate to the original page rather than the voucher. We wasted 2.5 hours trying to get the QR code which really limited the time we could spent on the activity which was really frustrating. Being able to download the QR code should be a very simple process but by not being able to do this on the day was a massive waste of our time (thankfully the staff were eventually able to find us in the system and able to assist in that way) but if this had not happened we may not have even been able to experience the activity.

Such a fun day out - a great variety of rides. Also plenty of well-shaded areas for queuing plus the free socks. We arrived bang on 9:30am and we were able to get through all the rides by 4pm. We were really pleased to have not paid extra for the fast pass as it would have doubled the price!

The waterpark is huge, you ideally need 2 days to experience it all. It was really good fun but like many theme parks the queues can be really long and the priority passes are expensive.

What an amazing time! Some of the slides had significant lines but overall was not too bad. During a peak time I would definitely recommend the purchase of the Aquaxpress pass.

The best rides are not close to entrance. Don’t stuck at entrance go beyond with free lift ride. The new rides are closer to 2nd hotel

Too crowded long lines. Not worth it. They should limit capacity. The main rides had over a 2 hour wait for a 5 minute ride. After the first ride, we left as it was not enjoyable at all.

It was difficult getting in. They directed us back and forth for more than 30 minutes just to get our tickets to get in. The place was overcrowded and people were just so unruly. No crowd control and not organized at all. It was a waste of money for me
