What To Expect

Start your Dubai city tour with a pickup from your central Dubai hotel. Hop inside your air-conditioned coach or minivan and travel to your first stop.

Along the way, hear about Dubai’s history from your expert guide. Then, arrive at Jumeirah Beach to take snaps of the glittering Burj Al-Arab hotel.

Hear how the hotel’s sail-shaped design has made it one of Dubai’s signature sights and learn how it stands at a remarkable 1,053-foot (321-meter) high.

Drive through exclusive Jumeirah, one of Dubai’s most upscale residential districts. See the plush villas and hotels, and continue into the old quarter to get a glimpse of Dubai’s past.

Navigate past mudbrick courtyards and houses with wind towers that circulate the cooling breeze. See the 18th-century Al Fahidi Fort, the city’s oldest building and home to Dubai Museum, as your guide tells you about its historical fortifications.

Board an abra and enjoy the views as you cross Dubai Creek. Arrive in Deira and stroll with your guide around the vibrant Spice Souk. Scan the colorful stalls of perfumed spices, herbs, and sweets, and then head for the nearby Gold Souk where you can enjoy free time to explore the gold and jewelry stores.

Finally, your journey ends in the new heart of Downtown Dubai where you will see the magnificent Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building.

Your tour concludes with a hotel drop-off.

  • Children below 5 years old must be seated in a child seat while traveling in any kind of vehicle in UAE. If you have a child below 5 years joining the tour, please mention in the remarks.
  • Dress code: lightweight summer clothing is suitable for most of the year, but sweaters or jackets may be needed for the winter months, especially in the evenings. Good quality sunglasses are advised. Hats are advisable when in direct sunlight.
  • Guests visiting the UAE during the Summer months (June – September) are advised that peak daytime temperatures sometimes reach 42 – 45 degrees Celsius. Humidity levels can also exceed 90 percent during this period. We recommend all our guests to take adequate precaution.

  • The local tour operator reserves the right to cancel any part of the scheduled programs because of government decisions, public holidays, weather conditions, or other similar circumstances.
  • The duration of the actual tour takes 4 – 4.5 hour but the driving time from Dubai hotel and return may take another 60 – 90 minutes depending on traffic conditions and time of day.
  • Tour Language - English / German ( bilingual) or English / Spanish ( bilingual)The guide will speak both languages during the tour)
  • Tour schedule - English / German : Afternoon Tour -Monday, Tuesday, Thursdays, Friday & Saturday
  • Tour schedule - English / Spanish : Afternoon Tour -Sunday & Wednesday
  • Burj Al Arab photo-stop changed to Madinat Jumeirah (no more photostop in Open Beach due to construction)
  • If any given tourist sites are closed an alternate attraction in case of the venue's closure
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 45 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Great 3.5 hr insight tour of new and old Dubai. From the friendly and prompt hotel pick and return, and John, our fabulous tour guide, who told us so many interesting and informative facts/history about this amazing city. If you haven’t been to Dubai and want an overview of what to do and where to go or just a quick tour of you’re in Dubai for a short time, I highly recommend this tour, which is also very reasonably priced. We saw and did everything that was outlined in the description~ book it, you won’t regret it.

One of the best tours

We had a lovely tour of Dubai with our tour guide John. We visited the Burj Al Arab, The Palm, crossed the creek in aa Abra to see the Gold & Spice Souks. We got between 15 and 45 minutes to ourselves in each location, which was enough to walk around and take photographs. John also gave us a running commentary in the bus of the places we passed. We were also collected and dropped off at our hotel. This half day tour lasted just under 4 hours, and we would highly recommend it. Well worth the money for what you get.

Anu was our tour manager…. A Sri Lankan, he spoke both impeccable English & German on our tour (I speak both) GREAT way to see highlights of the city. Efficient in by passing lines / queues… Anu’s communications pre trip to arrival and upon departure were EXCELLENT. His knowledge in explaining UAE history and introducing us to Dubai was 👍👍👍👍 A PERFECT way to see highlights THEN follow up on specific areas afterwards. We did the 1pm pickup afternoon tour which was PERFECT as we arrived at 8am and while jet lagged, it was a great way to acclimate Well done.
