Overview

Escape the city and head to the village of Hatta in the Hajar Mountains. You’ll be able to explore the historical village with old military towers, an ancient Portuguese Fort, and ancient burial sites from the Bronze Age. Your guide will be able to explain the long history of the region. Then, take a kayak out on the Hatta Dam to soak up the view. Finally, enjoy a traditional barbecue lunch under the palm trees before heading back to Dubai.

Great day trip to Hatta

Memorable trip with Bashar. Highly recommend as a guide. The car was confortable and the food great. Kayaking on Hatta dam was very joyful and we found the visit of Buhais geological park utmost interesting.
