Pickup is available from Dubai, Sharjah, and Ajman city, from Dubai Cruise Terminal (Port Rashid), Pickup from Jabel Ali or Bab Al Shams only with a private option. Note that the pickup will be 45 minutes prior to your booked time depending on your location.

What To Expect

Select your tour and departure option, and after pickup from your Dubai, Sharjah, or Ajman address or other select location (additional fees might apply), enjoy an air-conditioned 4WD transfer into the Lahbab red-dune desert. Prebooking lets you secure the ideal tour day and avoid any last-minute rush or hassle.

Once there, take an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) ride (select tickets only), or set off on a thrilling 4WD dune bash, with a break for sandboarding, before continuing to the shared Al Khayma camp.

On arrival, savor Arabic coffee and sweets and enjoy Bedouin-style activities like camel riding, henna body art, shishas, and Arabic-dress and falconry photo-shoots. Sodas, tea, and water are also included. As dusk falls, sit down to a scrumptious barbecue-buffet, watch traditional whirling-dervish and folklore dances, and enjoy a stargazing session using a telescope.

A return transfer to the start point brings your premium tour experience to a close.

It is highly recommended that, you eat 2-3 hours before the safari trip to avoid sickness during the dune bashing.
All desert safari drivers are well trained and licensed for safari drives. The 4WD vehicles are fully insured and well equipped with all necessary safety features, such as roll bars, seat belts, government trackers, GPS, GMS, and a First Aid box
Entertainment activities:- During the holy month of Ramadan you can watch Tanoura and Fire shows only in our desert camps (Al Khayma) as there will be some restrictions for Ladies Khaliji Dance. Other religious holidays as per UAE law i.e. 3rd April, 10 & 31st Aug, 9th Nov etc there will not be any entertainment activities in the camps as its strictly not permitted by UAE law.
Casual, loose fitting clothing is recommended in the summer, along with a jacket in the winter

Pick-up timing is subject to change due to the emerging summer heat: 1 hour earlier in the morning and 1 hour later in the afternoon. A notification shall be sent in advance in the case of any change.
By UAE law, pregnant ladies, anyone with back or neck pain, heart problems or other serious medical complaints and infants (under 3 years old) are not allowed during the dune bashing activity by car. (If these conditions apply to you, you can wait at the meeting point until others complete the adventure activities.)

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

A wonderful day was had by our family. Moosa was our guide for the day and he was fantastic! He communicated with us before our prompt collection and looked after us all day providing us with iced water throughout the day. The dune safari was exillarating and such fun... Moosa seemed to be enjoying it as much as we did, such a laugh!! The quad bikes were great fun as were the camel rides & sand boarding. The camp experience was wonderful. Great bbq was provided, such a huge selection of tasty food, and the entertainment was enjoyable too! So glad we decided to do this experience as a family. Moosa then took us back to the hotel, coming up against some badly flooded roads but he handed the roads beautifully. An amazing day & in my opinion, very good value for money. Fantastic memories made... THANKS

There are a lot of service providers and I researched many and Oceanair had good reviews. I was very pleased with their service and especially Tehseen safari guide who took very good care of us. He had very good driving skills in the dunes and told many interesting things about UAE and the surroundings. My favourite thing was sandboarding and we did it as long as we were exhausted, about 10 rides. There are a lot of other people but desert safaris are a big thing here. If you want something more private you have to pay for it but don't go for the cheap providers either if the other way around. You get what you pay for. Camp was nice and food was very good and there was a lot of it. I wish we had more time there to relax.

This was one of the most memorable days of any trip we’ve taken. Our Safari Guide TEHSEEN was better than fantastic, and took us through every amazing activity of the day, giving us tips and telling us about Dubai along the way. What a lovely day! The dune, sand boarding & camel riding was all really good. Quad biking, my kids loved but I’d prefer a trail. The food was also lovely and fresh, the entertainment was nice, the only downside were there was a lot of driving, it’s in 3 different locations and we had to wait long for lunch - we started the tour at 11 and ate at 4pm. Pack a snack and you’ll be fine. Tour guides are caring and do their best and have great photography skills.
