What To Expect

Start your experience with a pickup from your central Dubai hotel. Meet your guide, settle into your private air-conditioned vehicle, and set out on your day trip to Al-Ain, often known as the Garden City.

As you travel, hear about the history of this picturesque town from your guide. One of the oldest towns in the UAE, Al-Ain lies at the foot of the Hajar Mountains and is known for its lush gardens and tree-lined boulevards. While you chat with your guide, let them know if there’s anything you want to see more of. Your tour is private, so the itinerary can tailored to suit you.

After roughly 1.5 hours on the road, drink in the sight of the craggy mountain peaks, and pass Al-Ain’s green parks on route to your first stop — the Sheik Zayed Palace Museum. The former home of the UAE’s late first president, His Highness Sheikh Zayed, this museum gives you an absorbing insight into the still-revered ruler. Step inside to view the beautiful interiors, artworks, meeting rooms and gardens, and learn more about the great man and his life.

Get a taste of old-time Arabia on a stroll around the enclosures of Al-Ain’s camel market. See the braying camels and take in the fascinating sight of the hawkers’ as they negotiate over their valuable animals.

Enjoy a break for lunch in town (own expense), and visit the hot springs below Jebel Hafeet, the mountain that towers over the city. Perhaps paddle in the waters, and then start your drive back to Dubai.

  • Children up to 5 years of age must be provided with a child safety seat. Kindly let us know if you have an infant 5 years and below joining the tour. Infant seat will be provided without any additional charges.
  • Dress code: lightweight summer clothing is suitable for most of the year, but sweaters or jackets may be needed for the winter months, especially in the evenings. Good quality sunglasses are advised. Hats are advisable when in direct sunlight.
  • Guests visiting the UAE during the Summer months (June – September) are advised that peak daytime temperatures sometimes reach 42 – 45 degrees Celsius. Humidity levels can also exceed 90 percent during this period. We recommend all our guests to take adequate precaution.

  • The local tour operator reserves the right to cancel any part of the scheduled programs because of government decisions, public holidays, weather conditions, or other similar circumstances.
  • As part of ongoing COVID-19 virus preventative measures, some of the Tourist sites which are included in the given itinerary remain closed, so alternate visits / photo stops will be arranged.
  • Guest can discuss with our tour guide and customize the itinerary, guest have to pay directly if any additional entrance ticket applicable which is not included in the above itinerary.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Day trip to Al Ain and the camel market

Our guide Muhammad waseem abbas was just great! We altered the pickup time so we could do the trip from our cruise ship. Al Ain and the many interesting historic sites was just as described. Learning the history of the UAE was great. The car for 3 was very comfortable and the interesting comments made by our guide were perfect. Loved the camel market and found it one of the highlights of the excursion. I have mobility issues and Muhammad was very accommodating! The day was very long but definitely worth it especially if you like history.

The guide was excellent but as the tour was taken on Monday, all museums were closed. The tour lasted 6 hours and not advertised 9.

This is an expensive tour and the camel market and the oasis were the highlights. We would have preferred more time at the markets in fact. Could have passed on the archeological site that wasn't.

En fantastisk tur og oplevelse. Vi havde vore helt egen chauffør, som kørte meget professionelt og vores helt egen private guide som informerede og underholdte vores lille familie på fire personer en hel dag. Vi så alt det vi havde drømt om af ørken, daddelpalmer, historiske monumenter og ikke mindst kameler. Alt i alt en oplevelse, som kan anbefales. Det er dyrt, men vil man opleve noget af det originale fra Emiraterne, samt lære lidt undervejs er det alle pengene værd.
